She pulled her arm away as if I had offended her.
"I’m fine, relax. It’s just dancing," she hissed, tossing her hair as if she had finally won sothing.
"Lara, we have decided to leave," I stated firmly, not looking at the man beside her who was touching her everywhere, on her arms, on her waist, even on her hips.
She never stopped him, and I could tell she was not drunk at all.

She kept dancing around.
"Huh, uptight? A girl who shows up this beautifully dressed is clearly asking for soone to notice her," he remarked, tugging my hand toward him.
I jerked my arm, but his grip tightened. Lara, still dancing, kept one eye on us while pretending not to notice.
"Let go," I hissed, hating the way his thumb brushed against my pulse.

Several guests started to whimper, covering their mouths.
So won clung to their partners as they watched a furious man slam another helpless man against the wall and across the floor.
Others whispered to each other, their attention fixed on the sight of Alpha King Kash losing control in public.
