I heard the woman go completely silent and sothing just seed off about it.
"Rember to write the date on your palm and also send a video where your palm, the date, and the children are visible."
After saying that, I hung up.
These children were honestly so annoying. There were monts when I wanted to put them up for adoption, but I was afraid that one day soone would decide to get a DNA test done, or the kids would grow up and want to know their real mother and eventually reach .
I did not want that. I did not want anything to do with these children.
If I were a little more evil, I would have gotten rid of them. I had done that before, had I not?
The minute that mory hit , I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, telling myself that I did what I needed to do.
I was not just an evil person who would kill soone or a child for no reason.
I kept a magazine to pass the ti when my phone started to beep again. This ti, I was honestly so annoyed.
I picked up the phone and stared at the caller ID. As I answered, I grunted.
"What is it?"
There was a brief silence before the woman responded.
"Your Highness, there has been a bit of a problem," she said in a frightened tone.
It would not be the first ti she was scared around those kids. Sotis, when they got sick, she would panic.
At this point, did she not realize that if the kids got sick and died, we would all be free of this burden?
"What trouble?" I asked, nervously chewing on my nails, almost wishing deep in my core that they were seriously ill.
"The kids..." she paused, and my ears perked up.
"What happened to the kids?" I asked, trying to hide my excitent, though it was not easy.
"Your Highness, the kids are gone."
As soon as she said that, I relaxed a little.
"What do you an?" I asked softly. "Did they pass away from illness?"
I thought about my father. He was the reason they were still alive.
He did not want them dead because he believed that was wrong. But if they passed away from sickness and my father ordered an autopsy, he would find out that I had no hand in it.
However, my happiness was short-lived when the woman began to explain what she ant.
"Sobody kidnapped them."
My world went silent for a second. All the earlier happiness vanished.
"What?" I raised my voice.
"I’m so sorry. I wanted to tell you sooner, but I did not know how to."
She started giving baseless, useless excuses about how she had been too scared to tell this important information.
"I’m coming there. Do not you dare go anywhere," I said, hanging up.
As I rose from the couch, all I could think about was soone finding out the truth and taking the children to get a DNA test done so they could expose .
That would ruin .
For a mont, my hands and feet went cold.
I quickly got into the car and gave my driver the address.
That nanny’s words were still circling in my mind. I could not understand how it was possible that soone had dared to kidnap those children without anyone knowing.
The fact that soone had kidnapped them made it feel as if it had been done specifically to attack . My eyes stayed fixed on my phone screen.
I was afraid the kidnapper’s call would co any second, and the demands would be terrifying.
I sat in silence until the car finally reached the motel.
Those two idiots were standing outside the hotel. Their bags were packed, as if their job was already done.
The mont I stepped out of the car, I slamd the door shut and walked straight to the woman. I grabbed her and slapped her across the face.
Then I kicked the man’s suitcase.

"Your Highness, we took complete care of them. We do not know how this happened," the man began to explain imdiately, while the woman was in no condition to speak.
"And you are both standing here with your bags packed, as if you can just leave and I will let you go?" I started to scream.
Before I realized it, I was creating a scene.
"Co with ," I ordered, pointing toward the woods across the road.
As they began to follow , I caught a glimpse of their whispers.
"Tell her," the man muttered to the woman.
"Wait. She is very angry right now," the woman replied.
"That is why I am saying, give her so explanation," the man insisted.
I suddenly turned around and glared at them.
"What? What do you have to tell ?" I demanded, looking at the female nanny.
She was rubbing her hands together anxiously.
Keeping her head lowered, she said, "Your Highness, when we were coming back, we saw him. A man was carrying both of them and running. On this side of the road."
As she pointed toward the woods, my skin prickled.
"What man? Was it Alpha King Kash?" I asked, my voice unsteady.
Thankfully, both of them shook their heads aggressively at once, giving at least so relief.
"So then who was it? Did you see his face?" I asked the woman.
Both nannies looked at each other and began nodding.
"We followed him for quite so ti, but we could not catch him," the man explained.
As soon as they said that, I pulled out my phone and held it toward them.
"I will show you so pictures. You point out who it was," I said, taking deep and heavy breaths.
Then I began showing them photos one by one. Markus. Iris’s father. Iris’s father’s friend, Jas.
I kept going, and they kept shaking their heads until a group photo of our family appeared.
Both of them gasped at once and pointed at one face.
When I zood in and showed it to them, the woman’s eyes widened.
"This is him. This is the man," she said confidently, placing her finger on Luca’s picture and recognizing him.
