To think she could not understand how unfair it was, that it wasn’t even my son’s sickness, but she had dragged him into it.

"Let him co over, and then I will try to send him away," I said to her after taking a deep breath.
"Well, I hope he is mature enough to focus on letting Colin take the herb instead of standing over him to make sure he takes it in front of him," my mother hissed, making silently grind my teeth.
The kids played for a few more minutes before we finally called it a day.
I gathered them and took them to the car.
When we arrived ho, I saw Zoe outside with Marcus.
