Aria’s POV.
Sophia exhaled softly, playing innocent. “What did I do? The accident that made Nathan take care of ? I really didn’t expect that after calling Collins, Nathan would rush over so fast. But I heard you got blocked at Hemsworth Group. Infact, I am seeing you being stread live...Sounds... chaotic over there.”
Her fake show of concern and guilt coated my tongue with bitterness. My wolf growled, recognizing manipulation.
Before I could spit out a reply, a deep male voice cut through the line.
“Sophia? Why are you up?”
It was Nathan.
My pulse stilled. Even without seeing him, I could picture him approaching her.
“Even if you weren’t hurt, the doctor said you were shaken up. You need to rest,”he said.
“Nathan... I’m fine. Aren’t you supposed to be with my sister today? Helping her handle the PR ss?”
“Hm. I’ll stay with you for a bit.”
Their soft, warm conversation drifted through the line like a blade dragging across my skin. My hand tightened around the phone until my bones creaked. My wolf pressed against my ribs, hurt and furious.
Without another word, I hung up.
The dull beep rang in my ears, sharp as rejection.
Outside, the crowd closed in.
“Aria, stop hiding!”

Their shouts were a storm. They were loud, angry and relentless. My wolf hated being cornered. The pressure made my lungs tight.

Their excitent buzzed through the air like electricity. Jonathan ignored them all as his bodyguards carved space around him.

The crowd reeled.

Even my wolf paused, we were completely stunned.
I got out of the car, holding my head high despite the earlier chaos. “Alpha Jonathan.”
“You’ve always been a valuable ally to our brand. I hope you won’t hold the delayed statent against us,” he said, his voice gentle as rain.
“Your support was... unexpected,” I admitted.
“A blessing,” my wolf whispered.
“No,” he corrected. “We are very fortunate to know you. Asterfell is unfamiliar to , will you join for a al? Perhaps guide around the area?”
I nodded. “I’d be honored.”
He placed a hand lightly on my waist. He was gentle and respectful. My wolf didn’t snarl or snap. She simply... watched....curious.
As we walked away from the chaos, no one dared step in our path.
Online, the world exploded.
“Aria is a Celestyr Brand shareholder?!”
“Jonathan Anderson flew across continents to defend her!”
“This isn’t clarification...it’s protection.”
Then Celestyr Brand released the design sketches of the dress I wore with a statent.
The gown worn by Luna Aria is a one-of-a-kind creation by designer Selina, custom-made with no possibility of plagiarism or imitation!"
The statent was followed by a video of the creation process. Every accusation against shattered instantly.
Apologies flooded the internet.
I smiled as I walked into the restaurant with Jonathan.
“I’m truly grateful for your presence,” I said, bowing my head slightly. “I didn’t expect you to get involved. It’s... a great help.”
Jonathan let out a soft laugh. His scent brushed against my senses. My wolf sniffed cautiously, intrigued. His gaze lingered on just a heartbeat too long, warm and teasing, before he turned away with that effortless, aristocratic smile.

I already knew that. My instincts rarely misfired—not since the awakening of my wolf after prison. But even with his casual tone, I could sense a faint flicker of pride under his calm surface.
