"What is your na?" Elara asked as soon as they began to eat.

"Lunara"

"Nice na. How did you co up with such a beautiful na?" She further asked, looking at Luna Theresa.

"A four-year-old she-wolf with a supernatural insight who sees visions of the future gave her the na the day she was born."

"Wow! What is the connection between her future and the na?" Elara asked, holding her spoon firmly.

"She foretold that she would be a great Luna."

Elara’s spoon fell off and landed on the glass plate that was before her. She picked it up gently, looked at Oliver, and returned her gaze to Luna Theresa.

His throat dried up and he began to cough. Lunara, who was sitting next to him, gave him a glass of water. The cough stopped as soon as he gulped down the whole contents of the glass.

"Thank you," he said with a neutral tone. He lifted his gaze and all eyes were on him. Their worries were also apparent.

"I’m fine," he said with a smile, wishing Elara would end the topic. He hate to make wolves around him uncomfortable. This was why he left the ball on her court. However, seeing them trying so hard to answer Elara’s drilling questions made him feel like doing it the right way.

"Luna Theresa, did the young she-wolf tell you the territory she is going to rule?"

"No"

"Why?"

"She left before we could ask her questions."

"Lunara, how is your sibling?" He asked to change the annoying topic.

"She is fine."

"Why didn’t she co with you wolves?" Elara took over from him again.

"Her.... Blood -mother....took her away."

"Oh! she was adopted?"

"Yes," Lunara responded.

"If Lunara had been the adopted one, Luna Theresa, would you allow her blood -mother to take her away?" Elara asked, looking at Luna Theresa.

"No," she responded with a smile.

"I know you won’t; not because she is your blood daughter, but because you raised her and both of you are emotionally attached.

You adopted the other she-wolf when she was a pup, right?"

"Yes"

"Why did you let her go so easily? Does it an you never showed her love and there was no emotional attachnt?"

"We love her and we are so emotionally attached, but she insisted."

"No, none of you showed her love. She wouldn’t have agreed to go with her blood -mother. The she-wolf would have looked like a stranger to her if you had shown her love."

His guests stopped eating and continued exchanging glances with each other, apparently communicating with their mindlink. Elara kept quiet and concentrated on her food. She did not care how they felt.

All the while the conversation was going on, Lunara’s right leg was on his left leg but none of them knew what was going on under the table. He purposely allowed her because he didn’t want her to feel embarrassed.

There was a short silence as he uncovered the main-course al.

"If she were my sibling, I would not allow her to go. I wished I had a she-wolf sibling," Elara said as she picked her fork up without looking at their faces.

The alpha king entered shortly and the pack-kins stood up and bowed. He waved at them and focused on Lunara.

"How are you, pretty she-wolf?" He grinned contagiously.

"I’m fine, High Alpha," Lunara replied with her head bowed.

"No...no, please, sit," he waved at his guests. "Oliver, we will have a serious discussion tonight. et in my chamber by eight.

"Alright father," he replied and the alpha king continued walking. He suddenly stopped as though he had just rembered sothing and turned.

"Pretty she-wolf, today is your first ti visiting the High Realm, right?" He asked. Lunara nodded abruptly.

"Make one request and it will be granted at once," he grinned.

"The Princess wished she had a she-wolf sibling. Can I be her she -wolf sibling?"

"Why not? Please, always bring her to the royal den any day she wants to play with my moonlight," The King said, looking at alpha Daniel.

"No, father, she can’t be my sibling." Elara dropped her cutlery.

"Why, moonlight?"

"They sent her own She-wolf sibling away!"

"What! Oliver?" Dad’s face changed imdiately and he knew why.

"No, father," he shook his head. "Elara!" He called. The king began to walk back to the dining table.

"Did you send one of your she-wolves away from your den?" He asked Luna Theresa.

"She....is....not my blood She-wolf."

"Did you send her away?"

"She went to spend so ti with her mother," she faked a smile. "The she-wolf is like a stranger to her, so she is coming back."

"Good! When is she coming back?" Elara seized the opportunity imdiately.

"Tomorrow or next."

"Alright," the King said and walked away.

"I’ll co to your den on Thursday and see how you relate with her and then decide if you will co here any ti you want to play with us. If you can’t live in harmony with a she-wolf you grew up with, then you can’t live with us who are total strangers." Elara said.

Oliver lifted his gaze and none of the Greens were eating. Their eyes were on him, apparently waiting for him to speak. Elara had done a good job already and he couldn’t ruin it. So he decided to change the topic entirely.

"Dig in, wolves," he said with a smile, pointing at the food that was before them. They slowly picked up their cutlery and began to eat slowly. Elara excused herself and left after a few minutes of silence. She couldn’t wait for dessert.

He started his normal and monological kind of conversation with them and they began to relax again. Lunara continued from where she stopped before Elara joined them.

The pack-kins stood up when the dinner was over, but Lunara stood back. He understood she wanted to talk to him, so he sat back and relaxed on the dining chair.

"Lunara, please et us outside," Alpha Daniel said after shaking hands with him.

"Alright, father."

"I’m mad at you?" Lunara said when her parents had gone out of the dining chamber. He looked at her face, he didn’t see any madness in it. All he saw was a face filled with excitent and fulfillnt.

"Why?"

"You never told you were the Moon Prince!"

"You never asked."

"I’m sorry."

"It’s fine."

"I’ll co and spend so ti with you on Saturday," she grinned.

"Oh...that’s good. Please, co along with your sibling."

"No," she said and threw her face away.

"Why?"

"She likes you," she said with a low tone.

"Do you want her to hate ?"

"No, but I..."

"I have known her for over a winter now and I love her," he said, taking a step ahead of her. Lunara’s face changed imdiately. He could see resentnt in her eyes and he regretted ever telling her that he loved her sibling. He knew things would never be the sa between them again.

"She doesn’t go ... .never mind," she said and squeezed her lips.

"Are you coming with your sibling?"

"She is not my sibling!"

He knew it. Things would never be the sa between them again.

"Because I’m in love with her?"

"No"

"Because of what?"

"Her mother did not take her away. My father sent her to assist one of our aunts on her rice farm, but she went there and started ssing around with he-wolves. She has lost her virginity to one of the he-wolves already."

There was a long silence between them. She turned and fixed her eyes on him. Probably trying to read his facial expression. He put on a sad look because he knew that was what she wanted to see at the mont.

"Who told you this?" He asked with a quiet tone.

"My father."

"Is your mother aware of this?"

"No"

"Alright, Lunara; your parents are waiting." She stood up and waved at him with a smile on her pretty face.

Back To The Present

Emma slid her hands and slowly folded them around his waist. He likes it a lot when she does that. She doesn’t know the imasurable joy and butterfly she gives him each ti she shows him that they are on the sa page. She slowly rested her head on his back but did not say anything to him.

"Is my reason for inviting her to dinner good enough?"

She nodded, still holding him.

"I love you," she murmured breathlessly after a few minutes as she tightened her grip. He could feel her heart beating crazily on his back. He swiveled, lifted her weightless wolf, and responded with a deep kiss, while she wrapped her legs around his back.

He took her down when her device began to ring continuously. He reached for the phone and frowned because he knew why they were calling her.

"Moon- fall, father," she said, crouching on Oliver’s chest as he fondled her hair.

"I just want to remind you that Lunara is your younger sibling and she has a mating party next moon-cycle. Do not ruin it for her over a re controversy. I never mated you to the Prince but you went after him to avenge what your sibling did to you!

This path you have chosen will destroy you! And if you think we are going to fold our arms and watch you take what belongs to Lunara, then you are the biggest fool on Earth! If you...."

Oliver snatched the phone from her and switched it off completely.

"Moonblessed, it’s okay," he said, holding her head firmly on his chest. "This is not your fight; it’s mine. Leave it for ."

He lifted his head when the chamber sensor light began to blink.

"Co in."

The door opened slowly and one of the maids who stood in the entryway bowed as soon as he looked in her direction.

"The King wants to speak with her," she announced. He noticed his mate’s heartbeat went haywire again. He placed his right hand on her chest to calm her down.

"Now?" He asked after a few minutes.

"Yes."

"It’s ti for dinner and she hasn’t bathed."

"He is aware."

"Alright, where is he? I want to take her to him."

"He wants to co with her. He doesn’t want you to co along, My Moon Prince," the maid bowed again. "He also said it’s going to be brief."

"I’m going to my chamber," he whispered into her ear. "We are going to eat our dinner there." She nodded and leaned up reluctantly, still holding his hand. He gave her a reassuring stare and led her out of the chamber.

"Please, bring her to my chamber after the eting."

"Alright, my Moon Prince," the maid bowed and led the way. He continued staring at her until they were out of his sight.
