"It's alright, Lord Quenier," the Tree Elf girl shook her head and laughed, "Lord Quenier transferred his duties to before he left, I can make decisions."
"Who are you?" Brand looked at the other curiously.
The Tree Elf girl smiled slightly, she already knew this young Human Lord in front of her, but Brand did not know her. She extended her hand and smiled, "Fini, my duty is Archer Captain. Hello, Lord."
This 'human etiquette' startled Brand. He had never seen such an outgoing Tree Elf. In his impression, Tree Elves were a simple and cautious group.
However, Brand still reached out and shook Fini's hand.
"Since that's the case." He hesitated for a mont, then replied, "I'll entrust disha to you. She's my finest subordinate. I hope you can cooperate happily."
"Of course, I never dread that a hero who experienced the Saint War would co to lead us," Fini said happily.
"Hero?" Brand looked at disha in confusion. Although this Silver Elf Princess perford excellently in all aspects, whether in etiquette or handling matters, she could completely represent the Silver Elf's epito. Although the added Magic Cloak isn't cheap, it's far simpler than enchanting triple Array on the armor. Moreover, the enhancent brought by the Magic Cloak is leaping, with 10% dexterity and 5% dodge increase. Although it's only short 10 seconds, you can imagine how many losses a Tree Elf Archer can avoid when they suddenly activate this ability while being approached by cavalry or infantry.
Their opponent surely would be greatly surprised.
The entire set of armor requires an additional cost of about two thousand Thor, and three hundred sets would be sixty thousand Thor. With Brand's current output, it would only take half a year relying solely on the Shafren Silver Mine's inco to outfit all the Tree Elves.
But the overall combat power improvent from upgrading the Tree Elf Archer's new equipnt would far exceed this sixty thousand Thor investnt. Money can be earned again, but special units are as rare as biological nests in Vaun. Good steel should be used on the blade, Brand firmly believes this.
Moreover, the Magic Crystal Mine is soon to be officially operational, and the Magic Crystal Mine in the Black Forest produces three standard units a day (*), considered a super rich mine. Though currently all these Magic Ores are consud internally in the territory, Brand believes it will soon be saturated. He's preparing to export the surplus crystals — after all, these crystals are hard currency in any era in Amber Sword's history; it'll be an enormous wealth.
(* One standard output of Magic Ore is one Fla Pattern Agate, or ten Secondary Moon Crystals.)
Looking long term, Brand does not think he'll always be short on money. Once the Black Forest is developed, it'll be imnse wealth. But what he needs is a strong army to guard these precious assets belonging to Erune.
"Excuse , Lord." At this mont, Caglis finally averted his gaze from the Light Spirits flitting around the hall. He always felt choosing to follow Brand was the wisest decision — as only beside this lord were so many novel things.
Of course, only Brand tolerated his Guard Captain shifting focus to unrelated matters during serious discussions — such as previously telling jokes to Monica — Brand pretended not to see.
Switch this to any other serious Lord living in Erune or elsewhere in Kruz, facing Caglis's frivolous attitude, they'd likely kick him out of the hall to reflect on what noble principles he'd violated.
But Brand was undoubtedly the most suited master for Caglis; he rely asked, "Is there anything else, Caglis?"
"Certainly." Caglis replied, "And there's a letter for you, Lord."
"My letter?"
Brand was at a loss; his subordinates wouldn't randomly write to him, the only one who'd do so could only be that person. Looking at the letter Caglis produced, he couldn't help but pause.
What had the historical Princess written in the letter this ti?
