That was the mont Frey completed her transformation from a militia mber to a female knight. Her mind was blank; she didn’t think of anything, she just knew she wanted to achieve victory, to help Brand, and to continue walking this long, long road together with everyone.
The thorny forest made of long spears appeared vividly before her eyes, densely packed—
"Frey!"
Miss rchant carefully hid alone at the mountaintop; naturally, no one knew she had snuck out. But she imdiately saw Frey’s daring move, and couldn’t help widening her eyes in shock.
Then she suddenly heard sounds of a dispute behind her. Roman was startled and turned around, seeing the girl known as Su seizing a warhorse and mounting it before charging towards the battlefield.
So, she knows how to ride a horse too—
Roman lay on the rock, thinking blankly, horse riding seems quite interesting as well.
Frey gritted her teeth and raised her Fine Steel Longsword, striking each long spear aid at her so that they swung upwards. She rode her horse along Madara’s line, charging through, and Madara’s skeleton soldiers retreated one after another.
But she could only handle a few; spears pierced through the defense line, and Wind Feather brightened, winding around the half armor on the girl’s body like a 7-milliter layer of oblique steel plate armor, capable of deflecting most attacks.
However, there were still gaps. Two spears shot out from the thorny forest, striking Frey’s chest armor and leaving white marks, while another spear pierced her waist, and red blood gushed out like a spring.
Frey grunted, cutting off the spear with her sword. Then, clenching her teeth, she turned and left the battlefield from another side. Behind her, the Self-defense Corps had already clashed with Madara’s Undead Army. Frey had raised the skeletons’ spears high, making them retreat, only to et the charging Self-defense Corps head-on, pushing them back under the imnse impact.
Sasar felt the line behind him collapse and was shocked. He thought his undead subordinates could hold on for a mont to buy him so ti, but they crumbled instantly. Turning around, he saw the female knight in Sky Blue Elf Armor encouraging her subordinates and forming a torrent with the White Mane Corps Light Infantry and rcenaries, continuously advancing and opening up a bigger victory.
The Black Knight couldn’t help but gasp. If he had enough Corpse Witches, he could reorganize the formation. This was one of the advantages of the Undead Army. But now, his focus was entirely on the other side, where Brand and his knights were glaring like tigers watching their prey.
Realizing this, he suddenly turned his head to see the human cavalry adjusting their direction towards his position. The cavalry gradually approached, their horses beginning to trot.
Brand raised his sword.
The fifty-odd knights behind him raised their swords.
"Kill!"
"Erune shall prevail—!"
The earth roared, the cavalry roared through the mountains and forests, the stones on the ground trembled as if dancing, and the waves of rocks rolled continuously.
But the skeleton soldiers retreating behind disrupted Sasar’s formation. Over ten Corpse Witches were surrounded and helpless. He swung his sword, cutting down a skeleton soldier blocking his way, shouting hoarsely:
"Lower the spears!"
Brand moved swiftly like a black teor, lowering himself on horseback and sweeping forward with the Elf Sword. The wind pressure from the White Crow Swordsmanship cut through like a scythe—rows of skeleton soldiers fell back in unison. Then, he let go of the reins, raising both hands, and two gentle blue lights radiated from his thick Resilient Leather Gloves, sweeping aside the spears aid at him with a ’swoosh’.
A man and a horse crashed into a group of skeletons, lifting several skeletons into the air with the tall warhorse.
It seed extrely dangerous, but in fact, Brand’s dexterity was as high as 4.3 energy levels, several tis that of an ordinary person. The skeleton soldiers’ movents seed as slow as snails to him, the gaps of fractions of a second appearing as huge openings he could easily exploit.
"Protect the horses!"
At Brand’s shout, the first rank of the cavalry crashed into the forest of undead spears, creating a massive noise. The skeleton soldiers in the first and second ranks fell in a wave, and the second rank of cavalry crashed into them, pushing Madara’s line further back, nearly collapsing.
During the first charge, only two or three knights fell, mostly because their horses were injured. Being of Black Iron strength and above, they were still able to carve a bloody path through the chaotic army.
It could be said that Brand led a collective charge equivalent to Erune officers, the impact so powerful that even he was surprised.
Although they didn’t quite break through the two hundred strong Undead Army, they nearly pushed them to the brink of collapse.
Even Sasar couldn’t believe his rapid defeat. He saw two Corpse Witches in front of Brand and his horse施施using the Dark Curtain in vain, as Brand seed to ignore it, skewering them from their concealnt state. Half a body fell in front of him, white Holy Fla burning fiercely.
Another Corpse Witch attempted to use the Corruption Technique from a distance, but the young man sliced it down from seven or eight ters away with a reverse sword stroke.
Turning again among the demon-ghosts, Brand swung his sword, the Elf Sword passing through. The skeletons around him disintegrated with a ’whoosh’, and white flas erged from the broken bones, forming a sacred fire that surrounded the young knight, banishing the demon-ghosts, reducing them to ashes in an instant.
It was as if he was walking on level ground amidst thousands of troops.
Everyone couldn’t help but gape, their breaths caught.
Brand looked up again, eyes locking on the Black Knight Sasar—
