Capítulo 368: Act 104 Luring the Snake Out of the Cave (3) (Update 3, thank you again for your support, grateful, continuing tomorrow)

While Kokin was harboring ill intentions, Conrad and the low-level Dark Priest of the Black Fire Sect were also observing the new lizardman who had just arrived — though they were sowhat indifferent, as these lowly reptiles all seed to have the sa face. At least, to them, this ‘lizard’ looked no different from the previous ‘lizard’ in appearance.

Maybe the patterns were different?

However, He Youji’er recognized his subordinate and asked, “Kokin, you returned earlier than I expected. Did you find the target?” The lizardman bandit leader spoke fluently without the need for the cumberso Kruz Language.

“Yes, boss,” Kokin answered, bowing his head and shivering.

His attitude did not arouse He Youji’er’s suspicion. After all, he always demanded his subordinates to have a sense of reverence toward him. The bandit leader was just a little impatient and waved his hand, saying, “When did you beco so hesitant, Kokin? Speak up, what did you see?”

“It’s like this, boss,” the lizardman officer gulped and answered haltingly, “My squad and I were attacked directly to the south, and we lost so n. The attackers seed to be those humans, fifteen in total, with two won and a young man leading them. They were very skilled; we didn’t even have ti to react before losing… four brothers…”

“Directly to the south?” He Youji’er was stunned, as if he hadn’t heard about the losses at all: “Are you sure it’s directly to the south?”

Kokin was taken aback. He had thought his boss would be furious. But he quickly realized and nodded hurriedly.

“What did it say?”

Conrad, having heard the lizards whispering in their native tongue, was already impatient. When He Youji’er raised his voice, he knew sothing was wrong. He imdiately grabbed the lizard’s shoulder and asked.

He Youji’er shook off his hand and cursed, “This ti it’s directly to the south. That’s great, Donald, is your opponent playing hide and seek with us?”

“Southeast, directly south, southwest,” the Dark Priest was stunned: “This is very illogical; there must be a plot.”

“Plot my ass,” the lizardman bandit leader swore: “The situation is simple. The other party has already discovered you. Your so-called young man assigned to tail them has probably been killed, and those humans are fleeing to the south! Dividing into three routes! They’re distracting us; I’ve seen this trick many tis!”

“Impossible!” The Dark Priest of the Black Fire Sect almost jumped up: “My Divine Envoy went with that person,” he excitedly took out a crystal from his robe with his withered claw: “The crystal hasn’t broken, indicating they’re not in any trouble.”

“Then your stupid Divine Envoy is lost,” He Youji’er sarcastically remarked coldly.

“Divine Envoys get lost? Are you talking crap, dumb lizard!” Conrad interrupted the lizard and then turned to stop the agitated Dark Priest angrily: “What are you so impulsive about! In this regard, the lizard is right. The other party has clearly discovered our intentions. They certainly won’t run straight into us, escaping is inevitable, so we can’t wait here any longer.”

“Then what should we do?” The Dark Priest asked dumbfoundedly.

“Of course we pursue them.”

“Which route to pursue?” He Youji’er asked irritably.

Conrad gave him a cold look and answered indifferently: “To call you an idiot, you truly are one. Are there only the three of us here? Where are your subordinates? Of course, we’ll divide into three teams. Are you afraid that a re dozen Silver Level guards could defeat us one by one?”

He Youji’er was speechless. He opened his mouth but found that the damned human’s words were not wrong. “Then when do we set off?” He asked weakly.

“Imdiately!” The Dark Priest answered.

“No,” Conrad stopped him: “Wait until your n and mine are ready, and we’ll set off at night.”

“You’re too cautious, Conrad. This isn’t good,” said the low-level Priest of the Black Fire Sect, though he obviously had the sa concerns. From the reports of the Lizardman Hunting Cavalry, the opponent’s retreat seed overly cautious — but he still muttered under his breath. He Youji’er gave them a glance with his rhombus-shaped pupils and reminded, “Don’t forget, in the end, I deserve half the credit for this.”
