"Don’t want to?"

Nanis turned his head and gave him a glance full of teasing.

"Want, of course, I want." Brand quickly replied, nonsense, Elf Holy Land’s combat skills, anyone who doesn’t want them is stupid.

"It’s certain that Elf Battle Technique cannot be taught to you, you can forget about it." Nanis looked at him with a plain and ordinary gaze and replied, "Don’t be anxious, I also ntioned this before, Silver Elf combat techniques are specifically tailored for my clansn."

Brand nodded, but deep down he was unconvinced: "Then?"

"I can teach you sothing we’ve comprehended ourselves," the Silver Elf paused, "You know, learning how to judge the strength of your enemies on the battlefield is an important thing—"

"Wait!" Brand took a deep breath and interrupted him, "Are you talking about ’Investigation’?"

The young man held back his craziness as much as possible and asked the question calmly, just kidding, that’s Investigation. He now looked at the cold Silver Elf and for a mont felt that the other person had beco kindly. Accustod to using data to asure strength and weakness, it was indeed a bit awkward to ask him to use rank classifications like NPC. Besides, without the Investigation skill, it’s impossible to know what skills the opponent has—of course, experience can provide so information, but it’s not accurate for humanoid creatures.

Brand wasn’t conceited enough to believe he could morize thousands of NPC skills and their tactical preferences.

In the ga, Madden was supposed to teach the Investigation skill, but Brand had tentatively asked the veteran in Brags, only to find out he didn’t know this skill. Thinking about it, the ti he saw Madden in the ga was already very late, and maybe Madden had acquired this skill from others during that period.

But after losing this clue, he found that looking for soone to learn this skill again beca impractical. Either too far or simply on the enemy side. And now, when Brand had plenty of spare skill experience, he found he had lost the chance to learn these necessary skills. He’d been troubled by this issue recently, never expecting Nanis to deliver it right to him.

To know that Detect skill is like searching soone, it lets you see a character’s basic attributes and most used skills, and advanced ones can evaluate Absolute Strength, making it extrely easy to asure enemy’s power. But full of hope looking at this Silver Elf, he saw the other shake his head.

"Investigation?" Nanis replied, "We call this ability ’In-depth Analysis.’

"What?" Brand was stunned. What In-depth Analysis, he never heard of. He did know Investigation had an advanced version, called Eagle Eye Technique, a skill so powerful it not only has the sa effect as Investigation but has a chance to steal skills from killed enemies. Unfortunately, the Eagle Eye Technique is Baron Bunaegis’s special skill, and the reputation requirent to be taught it is at least [Alliance] level—problem is this old guy is the hardest opposition in Erune, Princess Griffine’s arch-enemy, how could Brand in his past life have gone to brush reputation with that guy.

Not to ntion the huge cost, even his senior sister squad leader might PK him in real life first.

"In-depth Analysis." Nanis repeated, "This is actually a technique every Silver Elf Warrior masters, we use it to grasp the battlefield situation."

"Oh? What use does it have?" Brand beca interested after hearing it’s mastered by every Silver Elf Warrior. According to his knowledge, Silver Elves are natural warriors, and the combat and knowledge techniques they recognize won’t be weak at all.

The Silver Elf Commander stared at Brand and then answered, "I rember you said you would bring us victory, and wanted to note down the words. So I noted it, this skill is equivalent to a wager, if you fulfill your words, I’ll teach you this skill." After speaking, he turned his head, smiling slightly when Brand didn’t notice.

Hell! I knew it wouldn’t be this simple, Brand cursed silently. But he thought it’s fine, regardless of victory in this war or the skill, he would get both, he wanted to know what kind of skill this In-depth Analysis truly was. After a decade of experience in the sa ga in the previous life, there were very few skills he didn’t know, of course—except for Travel Mage and Destiny Cards.
