Closing the card collection, Ben let out a long breath.

Although it wasn’t perfect, it was at least an unexpected gain, and a big one at that. Initially, he just hoped to use the Dark Elent Crystals to summon the Silver Elf Girl disha temporarily, to help him finish this battle and then send her back—honestly, this wasn’t a very cost-effective action. After all, displaying a Unicorn card once required 15 points of dark elent, while the maintenance cost was much lower. Moreover, the key problem was his Elent Pool was pitifully small. Once the Dark Elent Crystals were depleted, he estimated he wouldn’t be able to see the powerful Female Knight again anyti soon.

However, with the Ruogen Swamp and Rochelle’s Market, he could barely maintain disha’s presence on the field permanently. Having a Gold Level support ant that the originally risky Southern Territory adventure and territory exploration now seed not so perilous.

Additionally, he obtained the graveyard card, though he couldn’t use it temporarily. But Ben thought to himself, as long as he’s determined, could a Travel Mage ever fail to find a Land Card? Hu Que also ntioned that compared to Land Cards, graveyard cards were much rarer—of course, assuming Hu Que wasn’t just spouting nonsense. On this point, Ben harbored so doubts and planned to find ti to probe Char about it.

After all, compared to that unreliable middle-aged rcenary Captain, the young Servant was much more charming.

The real benefit of this card collection for Ben was long-term. In fact, as he flipped through the card collection, he had already ford a plan in his mind. Other seemingly readily available cards, like the Blood-colored Vanguard, Black Earth Lion, Kazan Master and Helar Guard—as elite and non-elite summons from level 20 to 30, they were indeed tempting. But for Ben, his short-term target was otherwise; he planned to first accumulate enough wealth points to acquire the remaining two Fire Elent Land Cards and one Wind Elent Land Card from this card album.

Without basic land and mana, even the strongest summoned creatures would be powerless to maintain. Conversely, soldiers should be provided for before marching—the basic principle understood by all.

His dium-term target was the Wave Gem valued at 60 wealth points and the Silver Swallowtail Flag valued at 100 wealth points. These two treasure cards provide wealth enhancent and reputation enhancent respectively, perfectly laying the foundation for further strengthening his power. Once he had enough wealth points and reputation, those advanced cards wouldn’t be out of reach.

For example, the Platinum Angel, a level 60 elite Divine Artifact Creature, coupled with its sky-defying abnormal ability. Once summoned, not to ntion all Erulin, at least in Jandener’s southern territory, he could walk horizontally or vertically as he pleased.

However, the beautiful future was ultimately still in the future. Ben understood now wasn’t the ti to daydream; instead, he needed to be racing against ti—although the Dark Priest was already dead, Conrad and Lizardman Commander He Youji’er should now be alert. Based on information he gathered from prisoners, disha’s necklace should be on that damned lizard, but the remaining battle would be a real tough one.

With these thoughts, he put away the card collection and looked at Hu Que, asking, "What about the other things?"

"What other things?" Hu Que was puzzled.

"The Dark Crystal,"

"Oh," the rcenary Captain realized, "After the Black Fire Sect Priest self-exploded, he left behind a pile of them, but they’ve all solidified and cooled. I’m having my n knock them down."

Ben knew then that he wouldn’t have to worry about the quantity of Dark Elent Crystals in the short term. He chuckled inwardly at the thought, rembering the ti players killed Dark Priests and wouldn’t leave without dropping at least forty or fifty pieces. Back in the day, Dark Crystals were among the cheapest Elent Crystals on auction websites, along with their unfortunate companion, the equally overabundant Fire Elent Crystals.

"Anything else?" he asked again.

"Right, there’s this," Hu Que imdiately nodded, pulling out a blackish, spindle-shaped stone from his pocket, "Furlo found this as well."

Seeing the bloodstained stone, Ben wasn’t surprised at all. He recognized it as the container for Divine Blood. When Divine Blood was injected into a target creature, Shepherd Tree Man could control the Divine Envoy using this container called a ’sheath’. But Ben didn’t plan to use it, because once a creature completely turned into a Divine Envoy, it would beco like a monster, losing its original humanity.
