Capítulo 421: Act 128 Knight’s Recognition (Part 2 of 2)

But this hallucination only existed for the briefest mont before dissipating, and Brando finally awoke and found the source of that tremor. He instinctively pressed the Sage Stone Tablet in his pouch, but it was too late; he felt it vibrating in his hand as if it had co to life, and then in an instant—the clouds over the Chablis Hills parted.

That afternoon.

From the Northwind Forest to Wanalan Lake, from the Golden Fla Castle to Charlotta, and even as far as Brags, everyone in the region witnessed this marvel: In the azure sky, the platinum clouds centered on a point in the south—like a stone cast into a calm pool—they parted layer by layer, radiating outwards in concentric circles.

After clearing the last trace of clouds, the azure sky was as pure as a blue gemstone, exuding a magnificent light purple hue, spotless; villagers, traveling priests between towns, adventurers, and even the Star and Moon Council’s Star Seers were all astonished. In the faraway Sea of Death, Bujia’s male witch in Delora recorded this phenonon—the monks of the Lion Heart Palace sward out, the record keeper at the Black Tower dropped his cherished crystal ball in shock—the pilgrims at the Thunder Gate couldn’t help but kneel and pray devoutly to the heavens.

Everyone looked up at the southern vacuum-like round sky, yet only a few understood what truly transpired there.

Artifact reaction—

The light among the woods suddenly seed to brighten, banishing the shadows. Bujia, Macaro, and a pale-faced Liwu all simultaneously looked up at the sky. As the platinum clouds spread in layers, beneath the breathtaking purple-blue sky was a vast and beautiful pattern similar to gears, each circle with a diater asuring nearly a hundred thousand kiloters—this was the law of ‘Tiamat’ from the myth of Martha, binding elents, the world, and magic, and marking the boundary of the Elental World.

No matter from which angle a mortal gazes at this colossal and intricate creation, they would feel a sense of insignificance akin to despair and an awe from the depth of their hearts.

Gripping the struggling Stone Tablet tightly, Brando couldn’t help but look up at the sky.

‘Tiamat’s’ beautiful edges were sliding across the backdrop of the azure sky layer by layer; each sweep of the arcs across the sky spanned hundreds of kiloters, yet as these law-defining curves and lines gradually aligned, when the gears shed together, aligning one center to this region—

The forest fell silent for a mont.

All winds ceased.

If this were in a past ga, Brando would definitely feel his hair stand on end facing such an eerie scene. This scene was almost like those where Elental Lords, or Legendary Wizards, cast their highest authority spells—the Fourteen-Circle Magics, commonly known as forbidden spells or legendary magics; these spells had transcended mortal understanding. Each was a direct invocation of the supre rules, performing cataclysmic purges and destructions, their destructive power far exceeding nuclear weapons of the original world.

But even at this mont, he felt his hair stand on end.

The resonance within him peaked.

In the center of the circular vacuum in the sky, a slight tremor spread outward, and a white pillar of light descended from the heavens; far away in Delora, one of the twelve leaders of the Bujia Wizards, William Pister, held his magic feather pen, the tip poised over a sheet of parchnt filled with spells, motionless, until the ink soaked through the costly vellum, forming a spot.

Then this elder stared out beyond the silver grate arched window.

Where sea and sky t.

A silver pillar of light stood upright.

“This… is… Eck’s Lion Heart Sword…”

A pillar of light pierced the sky; it bent upon crossing the boundary of the elental realm, then vertically descended in another direction towards Erune—in that afternoon’s clear sky, the two pillars of light converged and complented each other.

At this mont, everyone was rendered speechless.

But Brando felt a torrent of despair; all he had done was to occasionally pretend with righteous words, unexpectedly earning the recognition of ‘rciful Eck.’ Had he known, he wouldn’t have sworn that damned oath—he forgot that he had already accepted a task from the White Knight Albton, his excitent led him to trigger this task further.

Of course, initiating the task was not surprising, but what made him feel like smashing his head was the subsequent artifact reaction.

Wait a mont, Lord Martha! Isn’t the Lion Heart Sword just a fantasy weapon? How could it have caused an artifact reaction and suddenly beco a divine artifact? The forums said it was a Gold Level fantasy weapon, looking at its history, that seed accurate. After all, a kingdom like Erune couldn’t possibly retain a divine artifact—

This thought briefly flashed through Brando’s mind.

However, the celestial phenonon was as fleeting; the pillar of light lasted about three to five seconds before gradually fading; as Brando pressed the Sage Stone Tablet, its struggle subsided until it completely stilled, while he felt a mark left within him, as if sensing a direction. He knew this indicated a connection with the Lion Heart Sword, as an ability of a Fantasy Level weapon.

Of course, such a link had its pros and cons—

The best part, naturally, was being one step closer to that legendary divine sword.

The bad part, as Brando glanced at the enigmatic looks from Liwu and Macaro…
