Capítulo 550: 24th Act Expansion (5) (Happy Children’s Day to all students, first update)

But after the brief chaos on the battlefield, the Cave Dwellers quickly restored order, just as their trait suggested.

Tajib’s suspended heart finally settled down. There were many rumors about surface people circulating in the underground of Jogen Digan, so describing the greed of these surface people, while others spoke of the might of the Surface Empire.

This Wizard from the underground of Jogen Digan had been deeply influenced by these legends, believing the surface to be a dangerous and barren world.

But it soon beca dismissive because Tonyger’s humans gave it an extrely negative impression. In Tajib’s eyes, human armies were weak, powerless, and undisciplined — its tribe was considered a weak force in the underground world, yet here they easily crushed the ‘great army’ of Baron Gruding.

At first, this Cave Dweller leader was still suspicious, thinking the humans had set a trap for them. Even when Gruding’s envoy secretly ca to negotiate, it once suspected that the human nobles outside the forest were deceiving it.

But Tajib eventually confird that such suspicions were unnecessary. The legendary stories were nothing more than unfounded tales, and the human empire with the Eagle as its banner, which was described as enormous in the other side of Jogen Digan’s legend, now seed just like the scary stories from children’s books.

However, the greediness indeed matched the descriptions of these humans.

After a brief astonishnt, a sense of self-inflation replaced its original cautiousness. It began to expand recklessly in the forest, taking over all the human logging camps there in one fell swoop, even considering using this forest as a foothold to expand and occupy all of Gruding’s territory.

However, the humans’ terrifying nurical advantage made it abandon this idea. Of course, this did not change Tajib’s impression of humans as weak.

This ti the rcenaries took a logging camp, but in Tajib’s view, it was only because the opponent’s Wizard played a crucial role in the battle. As long as it took action, it could teach the opponent a profound lesson.

These cowardly and greedy humans indeed needed to be taught a lesson with blood and fists. Tajib couldn’t help but think angrily and unconsciously regarded these surface people as inferior creatures or natives.

However, those two humans who dared to launch an assault on its army truly surprised it; the Cave Dweller warriors retreating from the front inford it with low-frequency screams that those two were very strong, likely possessing the power level of a Slave Master.

In the underground of Jogen Digan, the title of Slave Master represented the lower-middle standard of Gold Level in the surface world, such as the Minotaur tribe living in the maze or the Golden Dwarfs.

Tajib couldn’t help but have its hair standing on end, an instinctual alert posture for Cave Dwellers. It knew these creatures occupied the Fourth Rank position firmly within the Underworld Lord’s hierarchy, not just for it but for the entire Cave Dweller society, they were beings to be revered.

But now, in front of it were neither the Minotaur gladiators marked by the Double-edged Axe nor the Golden Dwarfs residing in the Golden Hall. Instead, they were just two humans who had seed weak in its eyes before.

So there were indeed strong individuals among humans.

“But after all, they’re humans lacking chances, coming alone to challenge an entire army,” Tajib thought indifferently, thinking that natives were just natives, lacking systematic tactical thinking. Underground, war had developed into an art form; although it had only learned the superficiality, it still despised these Barbarians.

It imdiately raised its banner, instructing its kind to surround those two humans. Even if they were ‘Slave Masters,’ there was no way they could contend against a large army alone.

At first, when the Cave Dwellers beca chaotic, Brand’s attack was going quite smoothly.

He looked up and saw a sheep head banner standing out prominently among the Cave Dwellers swarming from all directions. It marked the leader of the Cave Dweller tribe and was just about a hundred ters away from him.

However, when the scattered Cave Dwellers retreated, they finally ran into the Cave Dweller warriors of the Military Governor at the back. These large-bodied underground creatures, covered in purple-red lumps, rcilessly used their long spears to whip their companions, forcing them to wake from panic and return to their positions.
