Audem put in a lot of effort to catch the little girl hanging in mid-air, even though his face was stern and his thick eyebrows were knotted together tightly. He kept murmuring that she was too daring and careless of the danger, causing this old dwarf a lot of trouble and inconvenience.
But eventually, the old dwarf muttered from beneath his beard, "Little one, are you hurt anywhere?"
"Ah!"
Upon landing on the ground, Little Roman patted her chest and let out a big sigh of relief, happily saying:
"That was so thrilling!"
However, her face didn't show any signs of peril. Instead, her small cheeks were flushed, and she wore an expression of excitent.
Audem glanced at her, thinking to himself, so you know it was thrilling. But he was choked up and speechless by her next words as Miss rchant enthusiastically said, "This is interesting!"
The old dwarf's expression turned serious, and he sternly educated her, "Young lady, it's not good to think that way. It's very dangerous! If I hadn't co over, wouldn't you have gotten hurt?"
"Old man, but you did co," Roman replied matter-of-factly.
Audem scratched his head, doubting that her reasoning was correct. So he patiently guided her, "That is if there's an eventuality. Besides, young lady, you have caused , an old man, a great deal of trouble. Not to ntion how you've interrupted my drinking ti—"
"Aunt says frequent drinking is bad for health!" Miss rchant interjected.
The old dwarf suddenly felt a headache coming on. Why did this little youngster think so differently from others? He began to doubt whether rescuing this little girl was a wise decision—perhaps he should have pretended he didn't see anything and gone on to drink his beer.
No, perhaps he shouldn't have looked up in the first place.
Feeling a bit annoyed, Audem quickly waved his hand, "We're not discussing that now. Besides, a dwarf who doesn't drink is not a dwarf! Little one, your Aunt..." he paused, realizing talking behind soone's back wasn't very upright, especially when the person was a woman.
So he changed his tone, "Anyway, one issue after another. Look, a normal person wouldn't be swinging from bedsheets in the alley behind the inn, would they?" The old dwarf taught earnestly, though he subconsciously felt his words seed sowhat problematic.
But after thinking carefully, he couldn't pinpoint the issue, so he shook his head and dismissed the odd thoughts, only to realize that the good drinking ti in the afternoon seed to be slipping further away.
Because the little girl started chirping again.
But Audem didn't realize he had already been dragged into her way of thinking, so next, Miss rchant would use her rich experience to defeat this old dwarf.
Roman thought for a while and nodded, "That's true," but she furrowed her pretty little brows, "But Roman was forced to do this, I'm in a hurry to go to the mine!"
The old dwarf stood there stunned.
"Why are you going to the mine?" he asked, "Won aren't allowed in the mine."
"Because the person Roman likes is in the mine, and there was an earthquake there. Roman is very anxious," The rchant girl looked at the dwarf and suddenly blinked, "By the way! Old man, can you take Roman to the mine?"
"You don't know the way?" Audem's small eyes widened.
"It seems so." She seed unaware this was a serious problem.
Clearly, this young lady was once again acting before planning. She had already forgotten all the embarrassing monts of her childhood before this.
There's a saying that a person shouldn't make the sa mistake twice in their life, but Miss rchant seed capable of making various mistakes out of the sa error.
But this ti Audem laughed—no, more accurately, this old dwarf was laughing his head off. He laughed heartily, almost falling over, mumbling, "How interesting, how interesting! This is the first ti I've heard of such a rash plan. Even the most reckless Mountain Dwarf wouldn't do that, young lady! Even a clumsy Beastman plans thoroughly before a hunt!"
