"On the 17th day of the Late Autumn Moon, written in Tonyger, Fir Castle - addressed to Her Highness Griffith Corcovado Odefis. In the battle the night before last, the Undead Army of Madara under the 'Black Lord' Instarlon bypassed the Southern Four Dominions and launched a sneak attack on Fir Castle—causing significant casualties and resulting in the heroic death of Baron Grudin. As soone passing through here and receiving the hospitality of the Lord, bearing the dual identities of a Pioneer Knight of the Kingdom and Lord of Valhalla, I feel obliged to temporarily take on the defense duties of this place. After a night of battle, the Undead have been repelled, but to prevent another invasion, I will temporarily lead the defense and administrative work here until a new lord appointed by Her Highness arrives."

Macaro took the letter, and after reading halfway through, his expression beca sowhat peculiar. However, being knowledgeable, he coughed slightly and continued reading:

"Additionally, I question Count Rangdenier's responsibility for concealing the news of the Undead Army lingering in the Southern Territory and failing to announce its silent passage past the Four Dominions. Secondly, I hope to obtain Her Highness's understanding and lastly, I have attached a magic stone recording the battlefield images as evidence of my true words."

He looked up.

"The magic stone is with ," Her Highness replied calmly, "Please, Sir Macaro, continue to read."

"There is no more, Your Highness."

"No, there is one more line." The Princess's thick eyelashes lowered slightly.

Macaro picked up the letter again and indeed saw a small line at the bottom. Upon seeing it, he felt his eyelids twitch and his eyebrows raised gently: "—Brand."

The atmosphere fell silent.

Macaro peculiarly placed the letter back and looked at the others, jesting: "I know Baron Grudin's commitnt to duty, but this young fellow is sowhat overly audacious…"

He thought for a mont, unable to find words to describe such boldness: "It's simply…"

"Absurd!" Master Liwu coldly declared: "This is a challenge to the Kingdom, he is breaking the rules of the ga among nobles."

Princess Griffine frowned slightly upon hearing the term "ga rules," a minute change in expression that didn't escape the keen observation of Count Violet.

"What does everyone think?" She asked.

"I believe Mr. Brand," The first to speak surprised everyone. It was Ecco, rising and speaking despite his youth: "The Mr. Brand I know is a true knight."

"People can disguise themselves, young man," Master Liwu said.

This was indeed true; Macaro and Count Violet both nodded slightly, understanding the depths of human nature and treachery more than others due to their lifelong noble struggles.

The Half-Elf Girl's expression remained indifferent, silent and unreadable in her stance. Her lashes fluttered lightly and her silver gaze fixed on the young man who spoke up for the first ti.

"Master Liwu," Ecco respectfully saluted the elder yet did not retreat: "In matters of life and death, people do not lie, besides, I have seen actions, not just words."

The boyishness on the young man's face gradually faded, as he glanced around at everyone present—excluding Princess Griffine—he declared: "Otherwise, I wouldn't believe Mr. Brand could righteously accuse us, and that even the legendary Divine Artifact would validate his words—"

"Hm?"

The Half-Elf Girl was slightly startled; she had heard Macaro and others ntion the artifact's sensing ability. Yet, this young man nad Ecco said Brand righteously rebuked them, and even caused the artifact to respond—what does that an?

Curious, she looked at the others, her inquiry driven by the sa curiosity as any fifteen or sixteen-year-old towards the outside world; only her approach was more composed due to her noble bearing.

Liwu did not expect Ecco to bring this matter up; they had intended to keep this process concealed, as it wasn't sothing honorable. But seeing the Princess's rare gaze of genuine curiosity, he knew it couldn't be hidden—if Her Highness wished to learn sothing, she inevitably would, due to her sharp intellect.
