Yet, those bizarre legends have endured. It is said that rare materials abound in the forest—the moonlit river water can resurrect the dead, red earth veins beneath the ground contain Sage's Blood that can turn steel into Gold, the Giant Dragon graveyard holds Dragon Bones more valuable than diamonds, and leaves that ignite can create illusions akin to heaven.
All these are the greatest wealth in the eyes of alchemists. Acquiring any one of them could create a legendary item rembered for ages. Every alchemist yearns for the Black Forest, but most who dare to venture into it end up dead.
This is another fact: the Black Forest is also the most concentrated area of demon nests.
"Master Tama could have directly commissioned ," Brand shook his head, "It's actually my oversight; I forgot the Black Forest is the treasure trove every alchemist yearns for."
