The tree elves couldn't help but greet the pale human who seldom opened the door to co outside, with curiosity and warmth:

"Hello, Northda."

"The weather is nice today, go out for a walk!"

They chirped away, making Northda feel a little dizzy. If previously, so many beautiful elf girls surrounded him, chatting and laughing, he'd surely have been overjoyed, but now he felt everything was unfamiliar.

The sunlight filtering through the trees seed unusually dazzling, and the young man couldn't help but raise his hand to block the glaring light. Having shut himself indoors for so long, he seed a bit unaccustod to the outside environnt.

"What's wrong, are you feeling unwell?" an elf girl asked with concern.

"No," he shook his head and forced a smile. Then his gaze fell on the town below—the residence the tree elves arranged for him was located among three ancient trees at a higher northeast area of the town, offering a nice view. The elves had built a platform here forming a courtyard, with several elf families living alongside his room, all treating him kindly.

Yet Northda always felt a sense of estrangent, as if he didn't belong here.

"What's going on?" He watched the town below for a while, then asked, "Why is it so noisy?"

"Many people from outside have arrived, I heard," an elf replied.

"From outside?"

"Humans like you."

"Not only them, there are also lizardn." They began chattering again: "Why don't we go and have a look together, Northda?" soone suggested.

The young man felt slightly tempted, but just then an elf guard ca up from below, she saw the young man, slightly dazed, and asked in a pleasant voice: "Northda, you've co out?"

"Lady Claire," the young man recognized the elf guard; it was she who had led him to this courtyard that day: "I heard people from the outside world have co in?"

"Yes, quite a few indeed," the elf guard replied, "What, do you still want to go out? Generally, no one ventures far from the Green Tower, though the Druid Elders occasionally go to the outside world, they won't take you along."

She suddenly seed to realize: "I understand, you want to see if those people are your companions, right?"

Northda nodded.

"I heard it's a Lord, one of your humans."

"A Lord?" Northda asked curiously, "How could a Lord from the human world co here? Don't Druids avoid dealings with them?"

"I don't know," Claire shook her head, "But apparently they're guests of the elders, people from several countries, seemingly from Kruz and Bujia, oh, and also people from Erune."

"Erune?" Northda widened his eyes in shock, suddenly becoming excited: "Claire, can you do a favor?"

"I know, you want to take you to see them, right?"

The young man smiled awkwardly.

"What good is the outside world," the elf guard shook her head, sighed, "Alright, co with ."

"Northda, are you leaving?" soone asked.

The young man rembered his wife who might still be waiting for him to return, and nodded.

...

anwhile, Brand's discussion with the Druid Elders had just concluded, the young Lord told the Great Elder that the most direct thod to solve the problem with the Trade Wind Ring once and for all was undoubtedly to find the legendary Original Spark preserved within Valhalla.

According to legend, once the Spark ignites, the Black Forest gradually becos the Guardian Land, solving all issues effortlessly.

However, Brand would need to wait until three days later after the first investigation to determine exactly what to do. Based on the Great Elder's description, he suspected the creatures attacking the Druids around the Trade Wind Ring might be a rare monster.

He had encountered that thing before, although only a few tis, he rembered its peculiar attack style.

As he was deep in thought, he suddenly heard Antitina beside him sigh softly: "It's truly beautiful." Brand turned back, seeing the noble daughter gazing at an elf in the distance on the suspension bridge, playing a flute, the lody elegant and beautiful, captivating.

Who knows if the girl was speaking of the tune or the place.

In Amber Sword, the Green Tower is renowned for its scenic beauty, this town built mid-air amid a backdrop of majestic Cloud Wall, connected by vine-ford suspension bridges, is suffused with a fantasy-like charm.
