"Ignorant of life and death!" Karenzi sneered, the blade in his hand close to Ben’s body.

Ben likewise watched him with a gaze filled with pity.

The young lord was completely suppressed by Veronica’s aura, almost unable to move. But as he watched Karenzi step closer, the green light web on his retinas flashed layer by layer, with different attribute panels quickly switching:

Character.

Mana Pool.

Attributes.

Travel Mage Skill Tree, Card—

The attribute panel froze at the Travel Mage System.

Then Ben smiled slightly at Karenzi, who was taken aback, unaware of why the other was smiling. But Veronica, the Commander of the Blue Sky Legion, noticed sothing amiss first: "Hey, this little brat—Karenzi, retreat!"

She warned.

But it was too late; a light blade engulfed in platinum flas had already appeared before Ben—White Sun Blade. It was the first ti Ben had displayed this card he had held onto for long, making the unfortunate Count Karenzi its first guest.

He hadn’t expected Ben to counterattack under Veronica’s suppression. As the light blade ford out of thin air before him, the Count from Cruz could only widen his eyes in terror.

He was hit head-on, scread, and flew backward, performing an astonishing series of 1800-degree twists in the air before crashing heavily onto the floor.

"Lord Karenzi!" the blonde twin-tailed girl exclaid.

Veronica’s beautiful erald eyebrows raised; she hadn’t anticipated Ben could act under her oppression. She was both surprised and displeased; since becoming the Empire’s Commander, no one had dared to be so insolent in her presence.

The Female Legion Commander reached out, ready to grasp her sword—Sky Blue, but after a mont’s thought, she forcibly restrained herself. As the Empire’s Commander, renowned as an Extre Sword Saint, and over a hundred years old, to attack a junior felt beneath the Empire’s dignity.

Yet, regardless, the Empire’s majesty could not be defiled.

She lifted her hand, coldly saying, "Seize this guy!" Veronica stared at Ben emotionlessly, her slender hand waving forward, and over thirty knights from the Imperial Forbidden Cavalry group surged forward from behind her.

When Veronica spoke, she also released the pressure on Ben. Though the Forbidden Cavalry group was a bunch of ornate pillows, she thought they were enough to deal with a small noble from Erune.

She had seen Erune’s army, and except for the Kolcova Royal Knight Order, they were a rabble.

But with the pressure lifted, Ben raised his head and saw the Imperial Knights charging toward him. At a glance, he recognized from their attire that they were the Cruz Imperial Guard. Though not quite Cruz’s frontline army, they were much trickier than the border cavalry riders he had just dealt with.

After all, border cavalry in Cruz were roughly similar to Erune’s Guard Team in nature.

Ben steadily stepped back, drawing his sword for the first ti.

As the longsword was unsheathed, the dim blade reflecting a faint cold light made the girl tangled in thorns, Faina, lose her voice and exclaim: "...That... That sword..."

"Watch out! Red Blessing!" But the black-haired youth’s voice imdiately overshadowed hers.

Luo Nuo rose from the ground, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his hand pressing uncomfortably against his chest. But the turmoil of his organs was nothing compared to the shock within his heart at this mont—seeing Ben’s silver hand armor on his right arm finally confird his previous suspicions.

It was truly the Red Blessing, Grasp of Bahamut.

A true Divine Artifact in the minds of alchemists.

Ben’s hand already burned with True Red Flas, the flas surged up his arm and instantly swallowed the Earth Sword. Ben leveled his longsword, charging at the knights; at that mont, he seed like a demon walking out of hell, leaving a fiery path behind.

Veronica’s expression changed the mont Ben brandished his sword.

This was no Sub-Sword Saint; standing before her, this youth was a genuine Sword Saint. And seeing the sword and armor in his hand, she realized she had made a grave mistake.

She had underestimated him.

Veronica imdiately grasped the sword hilt of Sky Blue, but by now Ben had already dived into the knights like a phoenix afla, trailing fiery tail feathers.
