"System Prompt: Source Blood matched."
"Repair work begins—"
Just as Ben felt himself floating in endless darkness, a voice suddenly pulled him back into his own world.
Then he imdiately woke up, feeling an unfamiliar force invading his body—but Ben was imnsely experienced, he quickly reacted.
It was Divine Blood!
How could there be Divine Blood?
Ben was slightly stunned, but he understood what it ant to be invaded by Divine Blood—the Divine Blood was now repairing his body, but would soon attack his soul. Ben dared not delay, imdiately mobilizing his Will to counterattack, yet at this mont Magic Power was dispersing from his dying body, and Ben was shocked to find that he was powerless to stop it.
He found himself only able to watch helplessly as the Divine Blood coursed through his entire body, then gradually extended to his brain and heart regions.
"Oh, co on, not like this!" Ben gritted his teeth and shouted inside his heart, watching as the Divine Blood was about to enter the core area. But at this mont, another voice suddenly sounded.
"System Prompt: Destiny Item detected nearby—"
"Would you like to activate Destiny Talent?"
Ben was stunned again, how could there be a Destiny Item nearby, wasn't the Golden Apple already given to Qian? But what was the point of activating Destiny Talent now? Destiny Talent couldn't suppress the power of Divine Blood.
Yet as he hesitated, the voice within his heart transford again.
"Destiny Talent has been activated."
Ben was utterly dumbfounded, wait, he never chose to accept this damn Destiny Talent! So what was going on now? Could it be that the Divine Blood had already invaded his soul?
As he was panicking, the System Prompt sounded once more:
"Source Blood matched."
"Inheritance matched."
"Soul matched."
"Inheritance activated—"
Inheritance activated? Ben was stunned, what inheritance? How could Source Blood match? But as he pondered, the scene before him suddenly changed, and Ben unexpectedly found himself sitting on a cold tal Throne.
This fact clearly did not match his previous experience, Ben was slightly stunned, followed by moving a finger, and the throne's tal armrest responded with a cold touch, causing his fingertips to shrink slightly.
The cold feeling transmitted through his nerves into his thoughts, allowing him to calm down and realize his situation.
"Where is this place?"
Ben took a gentle breath, suddenly feeling a headache. This dark and cold space seed to suffocate him, prompting him to lift his head for the first ti and observe the place. The view that erged was vaults upon vaults, Obsidian Columns, and a mysterious Hall stretching seemingly infinitely.
Lonely, deserted—
Where is this place?
Ben turned around, squinting his eyes, seeing a similar throne at the distant end of the hall, seemingly occupied by soone.
That person sat opposite him.
Ben initially thought this strange setting was a reflection created by a mirror; he even suspected if this place was where players go upon death, Hades' Hall?
But there seed to be no such scene in the ga.
His doubt persisted until the person sitting on the opposite throne spoke: "Who are you?"
The voice was deep but not raspy, rather heavy, this sound crossed the long distance between the halls, landing clearly in Ben's ears.
"Who are you?" Ben countered.
"?"
The person chuckled softly, resting a hand on the throne, placing his chin on his fist, seeming to lean his entire body sideways: "I'm just a fool."
"Huh?"
Ben was stunned, slightly furrowing his brow. Could this be a task? Was there such a scene in the ga? No matter how hard he racked his brain, he couldn't think of a similar scene.
"Anyway, calm down first."
Ben told himself in his heart, gently breathing and recalling similar situations in the ga. If this was a task, connecting with the other's words was most important.
"Hopefully it's not so riddle ga," Ben grumbled internally, then replied: "Then I... Why are you here?"
He initially intended to ask why he was here, but changed his words at the last mont.
