Brando stared in shock as the short sword on Faina's belt slid out of its scabbard —
The short sword slowly fell.
At that mont, ti seed to stretch.
Everyone saw the sword fall slowly, then collide with a protruding rock, bounce to one side, continue to fall, and after several collisions,
it finally descended into the valley bottom with a series of crisp tallic crashes.
The platform was montarily so quiet that a pin dropping could be heard.
In the distance, Andesa paused.
Then the woman suddenly raised her head in this direction — although she didn't see the people on the cliff, the slight arch of her purple brow seed to confirm the direction of Brando's group in her mind.
A countless number of vines surged up behind Andesa, carrying her forward. She then transford into a dark green dragon, and suddenly her speed increased as she dashed in this direction.
The rugged terrain hardly posed any obstacle under Andesa's feet; the woman moved as easily as if on flat ground on the steep cliff, closing the distance between them in an instant.
"Run!" Brando was the first to react — he knew inside that Andesa had discovered them — if she couldn't detect even this disturbance, she wouldn't deserve to be one of the Twelve Shepherd Leaders of the Shepherd Tree n.
"Brando."
"Don't speak," he interrupted Veronica: "Stick to the original plan, run south!"
Brando paused for a mont: "Please take care of Qian for ."
Veronica frowned and glanced at him, suddenly realizing that the young man might separate from them at this mont. In fact, Brando intended to do exactly that; if Andesa caught up, he would have to find a way to divert her alone.
The lair of the Holy Multi-Headed Dragon should be nearby, and taking others along — especially that useless young lady — would be a burden in such circumstances.
He made his decision in an instant, and by this ti Veronica had already started retreating, dragging Qian along. dphis also lifted Faina up; without waiting for her to stand steady, he grabbed the arm of the young mistress and started running forward.
Faina's hand hurt so much she shed tears, but she knew she had made a blunder and clenched her teeth, not daring to make a sound, only staggering behind.
Brando was the last to leave, taking one final distant glance, seeing Andesa's incredible speed behind them.
They sprinted south along the platform, with the abyss yawning on one side and the moving danger of the Lord Withering on the other, closing the gap between them.
If not for the gale roaring in the gorge, the woman might have already pursued them single-mindedly.
But the speed differential was too great, and Brando knew well that there wouldn't be a good outco if they continued being chased this way. He turned back, releasing the Eternal Ball while simultaneously deploying Wind Spirit Spiders to form a wall between them and Andesa.
The Wind Spirit Spiders arranged themselves midair as if they truly ford a wall, its surface glowing with a green light.
"Get out of my way!"
Seeing this green wall, Andesa initially noticed that it was just ordinary Wind Spirit Spiders. As a Shepherd Leader of the Shepherd Tree n and Lord Withering in the Amber Sword, she naturally recognized these little creatures.
She assud Brando was rely trying to buy ti with them, so she roared in anger and waved her hand without care, as countless vines shot like steel spears toward the wall of Wind Spirit Spiders.
Andesa hadn't attacked with full force, but this mistaken judgnt led to a significant loss for her the next mont.
In the next instant, the wall glowing with green light suddenly transford, the green replaced by dazzling gold, as if dyed instantly by brilliant golden light on the Wind Spirit Spiders' wall.
Then a flash of golden light.
Countless beams of light pierced from the wall, penetrating Andesa's vines and striking her body in an instant. Though the silver rank attack was hardly enough to inflict any harm on her, it was enough to throw her into disarray and catch her off guard.
In a brief mont, Brando had squandered all his Earth elents, commanding the Holy Sword Skill to launch an unreserved attack. One wave after another of light beams infuriated Andesa, but entangled in the assault, it wasn't easy for her to regain the initiative.
And when Andesa finally managed to extricate herself from the relentless attacks of the light beams, she furiously discovered that Brando and the others had widened the distance significantly once again.
The Lord Withering of the Shepherd Tree n roared in frustration, shredding the Wind Spirit Spiders' formation to pieces with a sweeping gesture of vines in re monts, as if venting her fury.
Then she continued forward.
At this point, Brando imdiately sacrificed the remaining Wind Spirit Spiders —
"Sacrifice non-black creature to card, Blood Throne Vampire."
