Brand could understand Veronica's words, but Andesa behind Veronica had a completely different reaction upon hearing it. Her purple, diamond-shaped pupils suddenly contracted as she cried out, "Primordial Fire Seed?" In fact, this half-human, half-demonic creature woman recognized the true identity of this 'lighthouse'. When it ca to knowledge, she was far richer than anyone else present. After all, Brand's cheat-like ability was not sothing to be counted.
At this mont, Andesa found herself in a bizarre predicant; the intimidation of the Primordial Fire Seed was simply too great. It signified a new, vast domain of order and governance. If cultivated properly, the birth of several new empires, potentially as powerful as the current Cruz Empire, was not an impossible outco.
Isn't Marus' Holy Fire a living proof?
The woman's eyes imdiately glead with dangerous light. This demonic creature couldn't help but want to risk everything. If she succeeded, it ant a possibility of removing one or two massive empires, especially new generation ones—the most dangerous enemies—from the future enemy list of the Shepherd Tree Man, not to ntion countless small duchies and kingdoms that would be dependent on such empires.
"Andesa, what are you thinking?" Veronica had already noticed sothing is off with this 'prisoner's' emotion.
Andesa remained silent, already posed in a stance prior to battle. Even though she was heavily wounded, the pressure at that mont was overwhelming. phisto and Veronica noticed and imdiately drew their weapons, ready for defense.
"Andesa, have you lost your mind?" Brand frowned and shouted when seeing this scene, surprised at Andesa's huge response to the Primordial Fire Seed.
"Heh, little guy, it's not like I don't have a shot, isn't it?" Andesa licked her lips; although she was engulfed in a frenzy, she hadn't totally lost her mind: "Under the suppression of the Primordial Fire Seed, we can only wield the basic strength of our races. While my half-demonic body faces stronger constraints, as a high demonic creature, my innate advantage still far exceeds you frail humans."
"Facing three with one, I still have a chance." She replied in a hoarse voice.
Upon hearing this, all present felt a tightening in their hearts. They recalled the Primordial Fire Seed's inherent suppressive power against demonic creatures but overlooked the existence of Andesa, beyond convention, within the Trade Wind Ring. She was originally human and, though later transford into a demonic creature, half of her body remained acknowledged by Martha.
So should it truly co to a fight, as Andesa said, they really wouldn't get much out of it.
Brand couldn't help but draw a sharp breath and also pulled out the Earth Sword. Initially, he was the weakest among Veronica, phisto, and himself, but due to the Elite Template, his racial strength was now even greater. Should Andesa insist on going mad, he would be left with no choice but to accompany her.
Right at this mont, when no one had reacted yet, Andesa hadn't finished speaking when a golden figure appeared with a flash. There was a muffled sound, like a heavy punch to flesh—the half-human, half-demoniac woman was instantly sent flying with her words cut off. Instead, there was a piercing scream followed by a loud collision breaking a gigantic pillar.
Golden-tier power—
Suddenly, this phrase materialized in everyone's mind. To maintain golden-tier power under the suppression of the Primordial Fire Seed was extraordinary.
But Andesa, having experienced the power directly, felt it much deeper; she issued an exceedingly frightened scream from within the dust: "This is impossible! The Dragon Clan!"
Dragon Clan!?
Brand's first reaction was that it was that extrely proud little girl again, but she had clearly said that she'd leave for a period. Even if she had finished her task and ca back looking for them, finding the Trade Wind Ring so quickly wasn't likely, unless she had been tracking them before they entered the Black Forest.
Yet, considering the tiline, that seed rather improbable?
Thinking to this point, he inhaled sharply and took a closer look. Upon seeing, he froze instantly. Because what he saw was not a little girl dragon but—Qian.
What is going on here? Brand felt like his brain had crashed.
