He couldn't help but wonder if one day the Eruein people could reunite again. But who would accomplish all this? Would it be those northern dukes, or the helpless Princess?

Pallas thought he might never see that day; he closed his eyes, as if trying to find traces of Forr King Ai Ke in his dreams.

"Lord?" The Knights around him hesitantly asked.

"Inform Madara's side." Pallas responded, fatigued, his eyes never reopening. The knight nodded and withdrew, but just at that mont, cheers suddenly erupted in the forest.

"What's happening?"

Pallas squinted over, and his Guard Knight turned to look as well. The source of the cheers was surprisingly from the camp of the Mage Corps, where those peculiar characters seed to be celebrating sothing.

The Old Knight frowned in displeasure.

"It appears the Master Wizards have discovered that the forest built by the opposing side isn't entirely real; a large part behind it is just an illusion. They've been trying to resolve this illusion all along and have finally found a way." An orderly quickly answered.

Pallas gave a slight snort. The dignified thirty-mber Mage Corps had hardly shown any effectiveness in the previous battle, causing significant losses to his outstanding young n; even though those robe-wearing fellows explained that it was because they had been battling a wizard in the opposing camp far surpassing them in power, the Old Knight always believed this to be an excuse. A wizard more powerful than them would be a Golden Rank wizard, how could such talent exist among the Rebel Army?

Indeed, those peculiar characters were all untrustworthy, he couldn't help but think. Yet at this mont, since they were doing sothing useful, albeit claiming undue credit, he found it inconvenient to say more and rely nodded in acknowledgnt.

But unexpectedly, the Wizards were quite efficient, as chanting soon resonated through the forest, accompanied by a vast wave of Magic Power that even the ordinary soldiers in the forest felt their hair standing on end.

Even ordinary people could feel the wave of Magic Power, naturally escaping the eyes of truly professional spellcasters. In fact, Char imdiately sensed the commotion on the opposite side as soon as Jandener's Wizards began their casting. However, this young Mage Attendant rely looked at his apprentice seeking instruction and shook his head:

"Don't bother with it; let them dismantle it."

"Let them dismantle it?" The apprentice looked puzzled.

"Nonsense, that thing is rely for intimidation; what use does it have now with the war at this stage? If those fools wish to waste Magic Power, let them be. How low must your intelligence be to go mad along with these idiots?" Char instantly showed a disappointed expression, tapping the apprentice's forehead: "Mage duels require more brainwork; understand?"

The apprentice was scolded, nodding quickly. In fact, as a ntor, Char was not the best choice, at least not in the patience departnt, even his master was better than him.

He looked again at all the wizards and wizard apprentices dressed in robes below, shaking his head: "Don't say I didn't warn you, reserve more Magic Power and prepare for the last battle. I brought you here not to have you buried here."

"Of course," Char shrugged, "if soone insists on being foolish to death, there's nothing I can do."

As soon as he finished speaking, a much larger cheer rose again from the forest. Everyone turned towards the north bank of the Griss River, this ti the cheers ca from all ordinary soldiers from Jandener, Pallas, Grizzly Bear Territory, and Grus, including mountain people who joined in.

Because the forest's illusion was dissolving.

To everyone within the Jandener army, this was good news, seemingly heralding the arrival of final victory, as their enemies had lost their last barrier.

Tagus and his Black Knight Guards stood like a shadow in the forest, their bloodline's distinctive golden pupils gleaming with a cold light, as if the outco of this war, or the war itself, was irrelevant to them. Behind them were thousands of Undead Army units, silent as a wall of steel, owing to their lack of need for breath.
