Now reading: Chapter 48 - 45: Anymore? Give Me More from American Adventure: My Uncle is Don Quixote, a Fantasy novel by Likes to Eat Sundaes.

Li Wei suddenly rembered what he had said to Don Quixote.

’If you had my face, you would’ve died from an STD long ago.’

It seed that was really the case. No wonder Don Quixote had replied with ’Indeed’ at the ti.

He glanced at the two girls, sizing them up. One was white—tall, slim, and wearing a short skirt.

The other girl, chewing gum, looked like she might be a mix of white and Latina. Though young, she already possessed an S-shaped curve that most people from Asia could only dream of.

Especially the way her full hips, below a slender, coffee-colored waist, strained against her jeans. He figured if she sat on an average boy with one of those Latina ground-and-pounds, he’d have to sever a limb to escape.

Faced with the two female classmates’ invitation to see a glow-in-the-dark football, Li Wei would be lying even to himself if he said he wasn’t tempted.

He was a Knight hand-picked by the system, not a monk. The improvents to his physical fitness ant he had to deal with morning wood every day when he woke up to go to the bathroom.

However, concerns about the liberal lifestyle in the United States of Arica made the head of his "other" head cool down for a mont, and he didn’t imdiately accept the two girls’ invitation.

Even though his Bronze Body protected him from plagues, it was better to be careful with these things.

Besides, Don Quixote had repeatedly warned him about the thousand-layer-deep sches of North Arican girls, forcing Li Wei to be on his guard.

Just as Li Wei was about to speak, an exasperated female voice yelled from behind him:

"Samantha! Adeline! You two fucking bitches!"

The words had barely faded when a figure pushed through from the side, planting herself directly between Li Wei and the other two.

The newcor was beautiful, dressed in a tight yellow cheerleading uniform. The pleated skirt, so short it could get no shorter, swayed violently with her movents.

"Do you two not own mirrors, or are your brains full of sewer water?" she said, one hand on her hip while the sharp fingernail of her other hand nearly poked the mixed-race girl, Samantha, in the nose. "I rember telling you a few days ago to stay away from him!"

Samantha spat out her gum and sneered, "Oooh, look who it is. If it isn’t head cheerleader Daphne! If you’re so interested in him, what about your boyfriend, the varsity team’s backup Quarterback? Did you just dump Evan like that?"

"Evan’s on the backup squad now; he can’t even play in gas anymore," Daphne said, rolling her eyes. "I broke up with him the day before yesterday, you idiot. Looks like your information is seriously out of date."

Daphne had no real feelings for Evan. She just enjoyed snatching other people’s prized possessions and was addicted to the feeling of being on top.

Now that Evan had lost his starting position and been sent to the backup squad, it ant that when the Franklin K. Lane High School football team went to away gas, Evan would be stuck at school polishing trophies. It was best to get rid of such a useless thing as soon as possible.

Besides, rumor had it that the guy who replaced him was a total stud—handso, with the body of a monster—and he had recently beco the most talked-about person on campus.

She turned her head, her eyes scanning Li Wei from bottom to top.

When her gaze fell upon Li Wei’s forearms and the pectoral muscles straining against his short sleeves, her sharp glare instantly shifted into an aggressively flirtatious one.

As her eyes traveled further up to Li Wei’s face, she almost couldn’t stop herself from laughing out loud, quickly lowering her head to cough once.

"Listen, Li Wei," she said, reaching out to poke the solid contour of his pectoral muscle. "Mmm... you don’t have to pay any attention to these bitches trying to seduce you. You’re the star of the school... Are you free to co watch us practice? I’ve been feeling a little stiff lately, and it’s ssing up my dancing."

More and more people were gathering around, and Samantha and Adeline, clearly unwilling to give up on Li Wei, closed in on him from the left and right.

’Can I stretch with the cheerleader captain first, then teach the other two how to play football tomorrow?’

Li Wei thought about it, but seeing the fires of jealousy burning in the eyes of the guys of all races around him—who looked like they wanted to stab him full of holes—he ultimately decided against saying it out loud.

"Ladies," he began, "um... could you let get to class, please? I’m heading to AP Calculus. Thanks..."

"Where’s your phone?" Daphne suddenly asked. "Let use it."

She shot another glare at Samantha and Adeline, then leaned in close and whispered, "I’ll deal with you two at lunch." Then she took Li Wei’s phone, used it to call her own, and handed it back.

"Call this weekend."

She gave the other two girls a smug look, then left the crowd like a victor, taking a few of her followers with her.

"Like I’m scared of her? I’ll—"

Samantha started to shout indignantly, but she swallowed the rest of her sentence when she saw a campus security guard approaching.

Unwilling to lose face in front of everyone by leaving in disgrace, she copied what Daphne did, asked for Li Wei’s phone, called her own number, and then left with Adeline.

The crowd gradually dispersed, and after so effort, Li Wei finally made it to the AP Calculus class on the third floor.

At Franklin K. Lane High School, the AP classes were basically sequestered in a separate space on the third floor.

A security guard was posted at the door. After Li Wei scanned his way in, the clean and tidy walls instantly made him feel like he had walked into a different high school.

The stench of marijuana and cheap perfu that filled the air elsewhere was gone. Although there was still a stale sll, it was a huge improvent over the first floor.

The hallway even had portraits of Einstein and Lincoln. Li Wei was willing to bet that if Travis were here, he probably wouldn’t even be able to tell which one was Einstein.

After entering the classroom, Li Wei greeted the teacher, gave a brief self-introduction, and took a seat in the back row.

Michael gave him a nod from a distance.

Soon, the bell rang, and Li Wei officially began his first class since arriving in the United States of Arica.

However, this sense of novelty lasted less than five minutes before vanishing completely. The material being taught was far too basic for Li Wei—so basic that he could calculate the exact answers without even using a calculator.

Judging by the teacher’s lecture, he didn’t seem to be a particularly learned man, but rather soone just getting by in a public high school.

At the very least, the mnemonic rhys Li Wei had learned in high school back ho—like the basic "odd changes, even stays"—seed to be completely unheard of here in the United States of Arica.

Bored out of his mind, he glanced at his classmates. In the front row, a student who looked like another high schooler from the Celestial Dynasty on exchange was taking pictures of the textbook—he was using Google’s image translation software to translate the math problems into Chinese characters.

Just then, the phone in Li Wei’s pocket vibrated twice.

He subtly leaned back, using the shadow of his desk to shield his screen from view, and swiped it open.

An issage account with Samantha’s profile picture had added him as a contact and sent him a ssage:

Samantha: [Li Wei?]

Li Wei: [Yeah.]

Samantha: [I saw these last week when I was out shopping, but I can’t make up my mind. Can you help decide?]

Before Li Wei could reply, she sent two photos from a changing room.

Samantha: [Image, Image]

The first photo was taken from a high angle, showing Samantha in an almost translucent, tight-fitting white tank top.

Li Wei could clearly see the deep shadow created by the forceful compression, and a magnificent bust—the kind most people from Asia could only dream of—that seed ready to break free with every breath.

The second photo showed her in a pair of blue high-waisted jeans, her back to the full-length mirror in the fitting room. She was leaning forward with her legs spread apart—the rough denim looked like it could burst at any mont, every seam practically screaming in agony.

Her Latina heritage gave her a significant advantage in the figure departnt, and she clearly knew exactly how to take photos that played to this strength.

Samantha: [So, what do you think? Do I look better in jeans or a skirt?]

’Is the Arican way really this open and direct?’ Li Wei thought. ’This is a completely different world and style from high schoolers in the Celestial Dynasty. How could such debauchery possibly affect my steadfast Dao heart?’

Li Wei: [It’s hard to tell from just two photos. Got any more? Send them over.]
