I couldn't help the surprised exclamation that slipped from my lips. "The fuck?" I muttered in disbelief as I looked at Nadia's status window.

The girls turned their heads at the sudden outburst, their curious gazes fixed on .

Did I say that aloud? I thought, suddenly aware of my slip-up.

[Yes, you did.] Sol's voice replied, playful as ever.

"Ahem, it's nothing," I said quickly, trying to cover it up. "Just a bug bit ."

Alicia raised an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah," I waved it off, smiling to reassure them. "No need to worry. Let's go in." I motioned toward the cafeteria, eager to steer the conversation away from my outburst. Experience more tales on empire

They followed without pressing further, and we took our seats at a table, everyone acting as if nothing had happened. But my mind was still on Nadia's status window. I couldn't shake the feeling that there was much more to her than t the eye.

"So, what would you guys like to eat?" I asked, trying to refocus on the present.

"Just a burger for and a smoothie," Alicia replied, her usual cheerfulness returning.

"Sa for ," Luna added.

"A sandwich for ," Nyra said, already flipping through a nu.

"Just a smoothie," Nadia said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

I nodded and headed to the counter to grab the food, my mind still buzzing with the new information I had unlocked. As I gathered the orders, Sol chid in.

[This is the new feature of Observer's Gaze. Now you can even view her mood, background, and more.]

I raised an eyebrow. "Mood? Background? So now I can read her like an open book?" I mused.

[Exactly. You can even dive deeper into her thoughts and feelings.]

I nodded, more curious than ever, and as I sat down, I began to sift through the new data that appeared after Nadia's status window.

[Mood: Perplexed, confused, happy.]

So many distinct emotions, I thought, intrigued by the complexity of her feelings. What's going on in her mind right now?

I continued to read through her information, piecing together the fragnts of her life that had always been shrouded in mystery.

[Nadia Mystic, born to Duchess Kinsley Mystic. She was born with the highest affinity for death magic. The day she was born, the Goddess of Death, Kaali, manifested and bestowed her divinity upon her. However, due to the prejudice against death magic—often associated with necromancy, witchcraft, and curses—her blessing was considered a curse. Rumors spread throughout the capital that the Mystic heir was a cursed child. Because of this, she was isolated from everyone during her childhood.]

[She has created an invisible wall around herself due to years of loneliness, but deep down, she longs for companionship. She doesn't know how to approach others, and as a result, she has beco more isolated as people avoid her at the re ntion of her na, pushing her deeper into despair.]

[Currently in a confused state, Nadia senses a familiar aura emanating from the host. Due to her blessing from Kaali, she unknowingly picks up on the divine aura surrounding the host. While others may not notice it, Nadia feels a sense of comfort around host. She is also happy because soone has finally proposed to be her friend.]

After processing the information, everything about Nadia fell into place. The reason she had been such a lone figure in the ga wasn't that she rejected others—far from it. Her cold deanor, the stiffness in her features, had developed as a defense chanism, born out of years of solitude and rejection. Nadia wasn't soone who shut others out willingly. She had simply learned to isolate herself because the world had done so first.

It also explained why she had taken the initiative to sit beside .

First, the druid had sensed Sylva's divine aura, and now Nadia could sense Kaali's. It was a subtle, almost imperceptible feeling that only those attuned to divine magic could pick up on. It was becoming clear that my connection to the gods was becoming more noticeable, and if I didn't find a way to mask it, others would soon catch on. It would only be a matter of ti before more individuals with heightened senses or magical attunents would notice the aura emanating from . That could bring unwanted attention.

I'll need to find a way to mask it, I thought, a plan already starting to form in my mind. Before anyone else catches up to the new developnts, I should put sothing in place. This could get complicated fast if I'm not careful.

For now, I focused on keeping things natural, making sure no one picked up on the growing divine aura around . I would figure out the next steps later, but for now, I didn't want to push Nadia away or make anyone suspicious.

I glanced at the others enjoying their al and caught Nadia's eye for a brief mont. She looked genuinely happy, which made feel a bit sorry for her. Even sothing as simple as eating with friends seed to make her happy.

We'll see how this plays out, I thought.
