Chapter 1167: Back to campus!

Faction Leader Francesca dropped in the middle of Star City in an isolated spot. No one could have spotted her. But I have to go back to the university on my own now.

Not long after, I ca to the busy street. Then I found a cab waiting for a custor. When I showed my ID, the driver widened his eyes in disbelief.

Before he could open his mouth and draw attention, I looked at him and said, “I don’t have ti for this. I need to go back to the university ASAP.”

Hearing that, the middle-aged driver nodded his head. His expression was serious.

Then I entered the cab and sat in the back seat. The driver then started to drive without making any noise. The cab slowly hovered above the ground.

He is speaking to Francesca Ball.

“With that power, he can save a lot of lives on the battlefield,” Jero said in a serious tone.

Jero then thought of sothing before asking, “Is there any possibility of finding Zack Lockwood’s parents?”

Hearing that, Francesca hesitated. Then she said, “We don’t have records of those who have gone for undercover missions.”

“Many of them were dispatched to various outposts that year. So I’m still trying to find out the truth,” she added.

“Take your ti. Too much information is not good for him. Let him focus on the task at hand,” Jero replied.

He can’t imagine the emotional turmoil of that kid, Zack. So he doesn’t want the past wounds to bother that kid now.

Then they spoke about a few other things before Francesca left the place.

“Zack is back,” Clifford uttered in surprise.

There is no one inside the eting hall right now. Everyone is doing their own work. He is thinking about eting Zack Lockwood.

Then he recalled sothing before shaking his head.

“Ancient Inheritance of the variant water elent,” he uttered in a helpless tone.

He has decided not to bother the kid. If other factions learned about Zack Lockwood’s situation, then they wouldn’t be silent. They would definitely make fun of that kid.
