Everyone heard that Zack Lockwood was the winner. He had defeated the Blazing Fire Faction Warrior, Ben.

The old man referee imdiately took Ben, who had fainted, to the infirmary. On the other hand, I walked out of the fighting platform.

My gaze fell on Issac and the female warrior. The two of them were jumping so high earlier. Now they looked scared. Their expressions had totally changed.

Feeling my gaze, they averted their eyes. Then I took back my gaze and started walking toward the office.

At the sa ti, the cheers continued to happen. They only stopped when people saw Zack leaving the place.

“Let’s see. The kid is not stupid. If he wanted to reveal his Inheritance power, then he must be prepared as well,” Jero replied.

The Faction Leaders were all stunned. They didn’t expect to see a sudden shift in events. Zack had defeated the opponent with a surprise attack.

They could tell that the Blazing Fire Faction Warrior Ben was badly injured—so much so that he was taken to the infirmary right after.

“Did you forget that kid was being attacked by your warrior at the last mont?”

“Zack just used one move to defeat your warrior. So there’s no need for you to get angry over this,” he said.

Elr said nothing, but he was visibly angry. He didn’t refute Clifford’s words, but what he ant was sothing else.

Zack had purposely injured Ben. But he couldn’t say much about it now.

Elr then said, “I’ve got two more warriors. I don’t think he can pull off the sa trick tomorrow.”

After saying that, he left the room.

“Wow!”

“That kid knows how to make people angry. I’m even sowhat upset. That kid fooled everyone. I’m going to warn my warriors not to fall for his trick,” Faction Leader Bethany said to Francesca.

Faction Leader Francesca could only show a helpless smile. As she had suspected earlier, Zack didn’t want to use his Inheritance power at all.

But he had managed to secure victory without using it. However, it ca with a risk. Like Faction Leader Elr said, she didn’t think that Zack could successfully use the sa trick again.

At the sa ti, the Dew Water Faction Leader Monica was angry as well. But she could only keep it in her heart.

She was expecting Zack to lose, but she didn’t expect such a turnaround. That kid had fooled everyone. She was going to tell her top three warriors to use their Inheritance power from the get-go.

She was going to tell them that their job was to force Zack Lockwood to use his Inheritance power, not to win the duel.

As long as Zack Lockwood was exposed, the duel result didn’t matter. Star University would be shaken up by another controversy.

So that Zack could make use of his elent. If he had used his purple lightning elent, the opponent would have been defeated in the first few minutes.
