Chapter 1253: Part 4: Fighting against Issac (Inner Hall)

From MC’s Perspective:

Swoosh!

The rebounded chain shot towards . Before I could move away from the spot, the chain reached . I used my right hand to block at the last mont.

The fla chain struck my hand. The point of contact was successfully established for his elent.

Boom!

An explosion occurred the next mont. The sudden explosion pushed my body back with a huge impact force.

My body almost reached the edge of the platform before I stabilized myself. This all happened within seconds.

Smoke had covered the fighting platform. No one could see clearly. At the sa ti, I felt severe pain coming from my right hand.

My right hand was already hurt to begin with. When I turned my gaze towards my right hand, I saw the burn marks were severe.

My right hand was almost cooked. The skin was charred. A burnt sll was coming from the flesh. Blood was dripping.

It was not a scene to look at. I didn’t have ti to use the blood force. Otherwise, I would have reduced the impact.

I imdiately started to circulate the healing force to stop the bleeding.

“Ha…He…Ha….”

Issac let out a laugh as the smoke slowly receded. He saw everything. His fla tal chain had made successful contact.

Zack had no answer for that. He had simply tried to block it. But the explosion had further injured his right hand.

He saw that Zack was at the edge of the platform, checking his right hand. He was not in a condition to use his right hand anymore.

If he had forced his right hand, then it would have further worsened the condition.

Issac’s eyes turned cold. He was going to use this opportunity to defeat the opponent.

Boom!

Fire sparks appeared beneath his feet. The explosion pushed his body forward like a projectile.

In a flash, he reached Zack. Once again, he swung his tal chain, covered with fla.

Zack was trapped. It wouldn’t have been easy to leave the edge of the platform without getting hit.

On the other hand, I saw that the opponent had co. I was using perception to guess the trajectory of the tal chain.

But I found it hard. It was the first ti I had co across such a difficult challenge. That too, in the middle of a duel.

If I had known, I would have trained using the tal chain earlier. Before I could think further, I saw that the tal chain was coming at .

Swoosh!

I imdiately started sidestepping sideways to avoid the contact. At the sa ti, I expected the rebound of the tal chain.

Issac grinned. Just as the chain missed the target, he swung the fla tal chain.

Boom!

The tal chain rebounded. It once again moved towards the target.

On the other hand, I started circulating the blood force. The blood force reached both arms in a flash.

Puchak!

When it reached my right hand, I imdiately felt the terrifying pain. The wounds started to reopen. It imdiately caused bleeding.

The blood force was violent energy. I had almost forgotten about it. It was not the ti to think over this. When the fla chain reached my face,

I moved my left hand to block it. The left hand was covered with blood force.

The fla tal chain ca in contact with the left hand.

Boooom!

The point of contact was established. A deafening explosion occurred.

The blood force withstood most of the impact. Yet the impact pushed my body with force again.

The smoke imdiately covered the fighting platform.

After retreating several steps, I looked at my left hand again. My left hand was reddened. It was the result of burn marks. But it was not severe.

The blood force had taken most of the impact. Then I looked at my right hand. It was covered in blood.

The closed wounds had opened because of the blood force. Looking at my right hand, I felt bad. I couldn’t use my right hand in the duel anymore.

Then I started using the healing force to close the wounds again.

Gasp!

At the sa ti, the crowd were on their feet, starting to cheer out loud. For the first ti, they saw Zack Lockwood being severely injured.

No one had done this before. So far, Zack Lockwood had always been dominating the duels, whether it was the outer hall or inner hall.

For the first ti, soone had injured him this badly. That too, from the Blazing Fire Faction.

Where the previous two Blazing Fire Faction warriors had failed, the last warrior, Issac, was able to turn the events around.

The Blazing Fire Faction warriors were celebrating the most. They could see bright chances ahead for Issac.

If Issac continued with the attack, then he could really defeat Zack Lockwood.

Whereas the faces of the Thunderfla Faction mbers were down. They couldn’t bear to watch the embarrassing condition of Zack.

Zack, who had always been dominating, was suffering right then.

The mbers didn’t know what to say. As usual, they started hearing slander from other faction warriors.

If Zack didn’t do anything soon, then the outco would be grim for him.

Above the fighting platform:

“Why wasn’t he using the inheritance force?” The Purple Mark Guard finally broke his silence.

Because he couldn’t bear to watch the miserable condition of that kid.

“The kid’s right hand was injured. Soon, his left hand would be injured if he continued to block the attack,” the Purple Mark Guard added.

After saying that, he shot a sidelong glance at Dean Jero.

Dean Jero had been silent for so ti. He hadn’t made any comnts so far. He continued to watch the duel.

Viewing Block 1:

The Faction Leaders were all taken aback by such a turnaround. They knew Issac was strong. His fla elent was different from others.

Yet they didn’t expect him to injure Zack in the initial stages of the duel. The Elental Factions’ Faction Leaders were celebrating.

Except Elr, the Faction Leader of the Blazing Fire Faction.

Right then, Elr was not looking at Issac. Instead, he was observing Zack Lockwood more.

He was confused why the kid was not using the inheritance force even at this stage.

It was the right ti to use the inheritance force. Otherwise, he could lose the duel.

On the other hand, Faction Leader Clifford was quiet.

He was not listening to the surrounding noise. Instead, he was looking at the fighting platform in worry.

He recalled Zack Lockwood’s reaction yesterday.

“This kid was not interested in winning the duel at all,” he thought.
