Trent Hotel
The guests stopped after seeing the Manager blocking them. The manager’s face was serious. His forehead was filled with beads of sweat.
Seeing the guests in front of him, he once again tried to convince them. Among the guests, there were killers as well.
Obviously, they were not going to agree to his words. Even the other guests were silent. But the killers were rather impatient.
While the Manager was convincing them, the staff brought the guards here. Now the Manager had so backup.
The killers hesitated. Their target was Zack Lockwood. They were not going to cause a ss here. The background of the Trent Hotel was not ordinary either.
The killers decided to see what was going to happen next. The other guests cald down. They agreed to stop their activities.
The presence of the guards had intimidated them as well. The Manager sighed in relief. He successfully convinced everyone.
Shortly afterwards,
The guests started to leave. When everyone was gone, the guards left the place as well. The Manager and staff exchanged looks.
They were able to avoid another problem. But they knew this was just the beginning. If Zack Lockwood didn’t leave, then more and more situations would continue to arise.
"When is he going to leave?" The Manager uttered.
He knew sothing about the Trent Family as well. The Trent Family was an ally of the Storm Wind Faction.
The Storm Wind Faction was one of the top 10 factions. He knew that the elental factions were united. They didn’t get along with the other factions.
The Manager then collected his thoughts and left with the staff. He was going to inform the higher ups first. But what he didn’t know was that the killers hadn’t listened to him.
When the guests returned to their rooms, the killers joined forces. Normally, everyone was on their own.
But inside the hotel, they couldn’t act without thinking further. They had tead up to find the room of Zack Lockwood.
Once Zack Lockwood checks out from the hotel, then everyone loses.
Ti went by,
The killers knocked on one door after another. But they acted friendly, as if they did it by mistake.
The guests in those rooms didn’t get angry. Like that, they checked all the guests on the first floor. Then they moved to the second floor.
On the other hand, the Manager contacted the higher ups and told them what happened here. The Trent Family higher ups were shocked to the core.
If it weren’t for the Manager, sothing would have happened.
Then, not only would they have to face the anger of the Storm Wind Faction, but the Thunderfla Faction would target them as well.
The higher ups then inford the elders and the family head of the news. They imdiately got alard.
They dispatched a few warriors right away. They had already sent one team earlier. They didn’t know whether they had reached or not.
So, they sent the additional team now.

From MC’s Perspective
Inside the room, I was trying to sleep. It will be sunny in a few hours. But I had this feeling that sothing was about to happen and I should be ready.
At the sa ti, I knew that the Purple Mark Guard was protecting . I’m sure he is around the building.
Then why did I have this feeling? I opened my eyes and got out of bed. I walked up to the window and saw the night view through the glass.
The city was still bright. As if it was awake. I started to wonder whether it was okay to walk out of the hotel again.

The killers had successfully searched the rooms. Now they had gotten closer to Zack Lockwood’s room.
26 minutes later,
The two Gold Mark Warrior killers stood in front of Zack Lockwood’s room. Like in any other room, they knocked on the door.
They were expecting another old couple to appear. They had disturbed quite a few old couples tonight.
If they delayed any further, the managent would know about their actions. Then the Manager could drive them out of the place.
Knock!
One of them knocked on the door. Then they started waiting for the guests to appear.
Inside the room, I heard the knocking sound on the door. I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I didn’t call for anyone.
"Could it be the manager?" I asked myself.
Since my identity was exposed, the Manager must be facing the heat and trouble handling others. I shook my head before I started walking towards the door.
Knock!
The knocking sound continued to occur. I furrowed my eyebrows. Why did he continue to knock on the door? Is there a crisis?
Creak!
I ca to the door and opened it.
The next second, I saw two middle aged n standing outside. They were Gold Mark Warriors. The killing aura was coming from them.
The two Gold Mark Warriors were stunned. They saw that the person in front of them was not wearing a mask.
But it didn’t an that they didn’t know the face of Zack Lockwood. It took them a few seconds to recognize Zack Lockwood.
Both Gold Mark Warriors exchanged looks. The next second, their eyes flashed with a fierce glint.
Boom!
Without thinking much, both Gold Mark Warriors punched forward.
At that ti, my eyes flashed with coldness. A dark purple lightning bolt flashed before their eyes. I raised my leg and kicked at one person.
Boom!
One of them received a kick to his stomach and stumbled backwards. The next second, I circulated the dark purple lightning Inheritance force.
In a flash, I avoided the punch of the second person. Then my lightning fist squarely landed on his chest.
Boom!
The powerful strike rocketed the middle aged man away. His body flew backwards like a projectile before crashing into the walls.
This all happened within seconds.
The middle aged man who got kicked earlier darted out to attack. This ti, he used the Inheritance force.
A blazing red fla covered his body in the blink of an eye.
Seeing that, I beca ready to face the attack.
