The widespread rumours had forced the warrior families to confirm the truth of the matter, because the families’ interests were connected to different factions in the city.
If the rumours were indeed true and the masked warrior was from a hostile faction, then these families would suffer.

Unfortunately, the family higher-ups were confused themselves. There was a matching person with such capabilities. Rumours about him had been going on for weeks as well.
The person was none other than Zack Lockwood. The rumours about Zack Lockwood’s Silver Mark strength were widely popular a week ago.

Faction Leader Clifford gathered the main elders for a eting. The rumours had reached their ears as well.

Main Elders Austin, Ann, Cathy, Leola, and Rosie were present. They were seated in their seats.

"I can understand. You guys are wondering about the situation as well. But what can I do? These allied families are being restless," Clifford said.
At this ti, Leola thought of sothing. She had been paying attention to Zack Lockwood’s rumours. It appeared that rumours had been circulating in the campus first.
But this ti, the rumour about Zack Lockwood started appearing in their territory. Not only in their Star University Territory, but the rumours had sounded in other territories as well.
"Leola, do you have any idea?" Clifford asked.
Hearing that, others turned towards her. Usually, she was the one who spoke the most in the discussion. This ti it was the sa as well.

Austin, Ann, Cathy, and Rosie beca curious. They knew Leola wouldn’t speak for nothing.
Clifford raised his eyebrows. His gaze turned solemn.

Rosie then felt everyone’s gazes on her. She had been worrying about Zack Lockwood as well. It was because of him she had joined here.
She said, "I’m worried that it could be an attempt to paint a target on Zack Lockwood’s back. The criminals could jump out again."
Hearing that, others nodded their heads. Everyone’s points were logical. But they still noticed Leola got sothing on her mind.
"Leola, you can speak your mind. Did you find sothing?" Clifford asked.
Leola smiled. She found everyone’s gazes on her.
She then said, "Everyone forgot about one important thing. This ti the rumours didn’t appear in one random place. I did so digging. The rumours have spread in the entire Tier-4 region in a short span of ti."
"This level of execution was difficult even for our University. Think about it. The mastermind behind it must have spies all over the Tier-4 Region."
