Knock!
I heard a knocking sound on the door. First, I ignored it and continued to sleep. But the knocking continued, and it disturbed my rest.
At one point, I opened my eyes. My eyes flashed with a quick glint. Clearly, soone had co to cause trouble.
I got out of bed. I had learned my previous lesson. If soone truly wanted to cause harm to , then the group or person should be ready to attack right now.
I walked up to the door and used my ntal perception. I found only one person, with a creepy smile on his face, standing outside.
Seeing that, I knew it was a hostile person. Instead of using the lightning power, I started using my bloodline power.
I extended my hand. A water drop condensed on the tip of my finger. It was a bright blue water force. The power inside the single water drop was imnse.
But the person standing outside didn’t seem to be weak. I kind of felt that he was strong. The people in the camp are strong. Hardly anyone is weak here.
In order to be safe and not be caught off guard by the person standing outside, I added a little bit of the shock force power to the water drop.
The water drop gained a golden and silver color. Seeing that, a sense of satisfaction occurred.
Creak!
Then I opened the door and saw the person.
"Zack Lockwood. You should die," after saying that, he released a wind tornado.
Boom!
Powerful wind blades got closer to .
Seeing that, I imdiately shifted my body weight. My eyes caught every detail. I could spot the wind blades and how sharp they were.
At the sa ti, I pointed my index finger at the forehead of the warrior.
Boom!
A water drop was released from the index finger. It went in a straight line in mid-air. In a shot, the water drop reached the target.
The next second, it struck the forehead of the warrior. The water beam pierced the forehead and ca out from the other end.
Boom!
The next second, the head exploded in mid-air like a waterlon. It burst into pieces. Blood splattered across the ground. Thud!
The headless corpse dropped dead on the ground.
Boom!
At the sa ti, a deafening noise occurred as the wind blades struck the stone house. The wind tornado blasted away the stone house.
This all happened within seconds. It was a close call. When I looked around, I found the stone house blasted into smithereens.
I felt a cold chill on my back.
Swoosh!
The next mont, several figures rushed out of their stone houses. They saw the headless body on the ground and Zack Lockwood standing before it.
Behind him, smoke full of dust was rising. It was clear that the stone house was gone.
Gasp!
A huge exclamation occurred. Everyone was visibly shocked. They couldn’t believe their own eyes. There were warriors from every faction and university here as well.
Then the warriors from Star University saw the corpse, and they tried to look for the decapitated head. But the head was nowhere to be seen.
"Aahhhh!"
A female warrior let out a blood-curdling scream all of a sudden because she recognized the tattoo on the corpse. It was the tattoo of a tornado.
Her scream stunned everyone. The friends standing near her were especially taken aback. So of them were from the wind elental faction.
"Rose, what happened?"
"Rose!" "Rose!"
Everyone started asking her.
Swoosh!
Elder Mike appeared the next mont. He saw the corpse and the destruction of the stone house. When he looked at Zack Lockwood, he didn’t know what to say.
Because he understood that soone tried to kill Zack Lockwood, but Zack Lockwood had counter-attacked instead. The warrior was dead. He needed to find out the identity first.
"Can anyone tell who this person is?" Mike asked.
Hearing that, a commotion occurred. Rose and her friends heard it as well. They all turned towards Rose.
Elder Mike saw this, and he turned towards Rose.
"Can you tell who it is?" he asked.
Rose wiped the tears on her face.
She said, "He is Kenny. He is the disciple of Main Elder Peter of the Wind Elental Faction."
Gasp!
A loud exclamation occurred once again. Everyone was taken aback and shocked, including . I didn’t expect the guy with a creepy smile to be the disciple of a Main Elder.
It is going to be a problem soon.
On the other hand, Elder Mike was thinking the sa. He thought that the main elder was going to cause problems.
He then collected his thoughts and said, "Alright, everyone go back to your rooms."
He didn’t say anything further. He was not sure whether the disciple of Main Elder Peter was a planted spy or not.
If he was a planted spy, he would have been caught sooner. Because the inner circle people are under more scrutiny than other people.
Dean Jero himself checks the background of these people because the disciples are the future main elders of Star University.
So he didn’t want to be accused without evidence.
At the sa ti, the warriors started going back towards their stone houses. None of them wanted to stay here.
Everyone t the cold gaze of Elder Mike. He is also the supervisor here. Among the warriors, a few of the gazes went past Zack Lockwood.
They were in disbelief that Zack Lockwood could kill a Purple Mark Warrior in such a short span. Because Zack Lockwood is a Gold Mark Warrior.
That is why they were shocked. When all of them were gone, Mike turned towards Zack Lockwood.
His eyes were filled with complex emotions.
"You have done it again. But it will increase the attacks towards you. Main Elder Peter is cracked. He won’t let this go," Mike said.
Hearing that, I smiled. I knew it. How could a disciple be sane if the master is not?
I said, "He released a wind attack right after I opened the door. I had to kill him. Going to the battlefield with an injured body would increase the chances of my death."
Elder Mike nodded his head. He then decided to solve the matter. He collected the corpse first and spoke to Zack Lockwood for a few minutes before leaving.
