Soft sunlight stread through the gaps in the curtains, quietly spilling into the Service Club activity room.

A warm atmosphere filled the air, as if even dust motes danced slowly with a Tyndall effect in the light.

Yukinoshita Yukino sat quietly by the window, holding a book, her slender fingers gently turning the pages.

Her profile, illuminated by the sunlight, appeared particularly serene, yet held a soft halo.

"ow-hello~ The sunshine feels so good today!"

Yuigahama Yui pushed open the classroom door, her face beaming with a bright smile.

She walked briskly to the window, reached out and pulled back the curtains, and more sunlight instantly flooded the room, dyeing the entire activity room a warm, pale gold.

Yukino slightly raised her head, her gaze shifting from her book to Yuigahama.

"Did sothing good happen?"

Her voice was still calm, but the corners of her mouth curved slightly upwards, as if she too was affected by the warm atmosphere.

Yuigahama leaned against the window, closing her eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face.

"Not really, but after going through a big adventure, I can truly appreciate how precious this peaceful daily life is~ The sun, too, feels so warm and relaxing! I wish every day could be like this, peace first."

As she spoke, she leaned against the window and stretched, her graceful curves becoming even more defined in the sunlight.

The distinct light and shadow of her figure fell clearly onto the pages of Yukinoshita Yukino's book, causing the girl's eyebrows to twitch.

However, she also knew very well that Yuigahama Yui didn't do it on purpose; it was simply due to her innocent nature and her naturally voluptuous body...

"…"

Yukino closed her book and gently placed it on the table, her gaze drifting out the window.

Damn it, why do I feel angrier the more I think about it?

"Did sothing happen again in 'that world'?"

She put down the paperback she was holding, trying to keep her tone from sounding too heavy.

Even before Yuigahama answered, Yukinoshita Yukino felt that it was probably related to the previous 'Human-Faced Sore' situation, after all, she had been running around to various hospitals with Asakura the past two days.

On a side note, her older sister, Yukinoshita Haruno, was almost fully recovered. The only reason she remained in the hospital was simply that she didn't want to go ho so early and continue to put on a fake smile and feign politeness with other guests of the Yukinoshita family.

"Hmm, but don't worry, it's already solved."

Yuigahama Yui nodded innocently, giving her a small 'V' sign: "Takkun is still very reliable."

"I don't deny that he's quite reliable at critical monts, but if he could be that serious normally, I… the world's opinion of him would probably rise by several levels."

Yukinoshita Yukino said discontentedly.

"I actually think Takkun is fine just the way he is—" Yuigahama walked over to her, gently patted her shoulder, and said in a lively tone, "Don't always be so serious, Yukino! You should enjoy monts like these sotis."

Yukinoshita Yukino tilted her head slightly, looking at Yuigahama Yui, who was in a sense her first friend at Soubu High School. A hint of helplessness, yet also a touch of tenderness, flickered in her eyes: "You're always so optimistic."

"Hehe…"

"So, did you encounter any troubleso things yesterday? If you're troubled by it, feel free to confide in ."

Yukino said earnestly.

"No, no~ Yukino just needs to live in the sunlight, as cool and beautiful as always!"

Yuigahama Yui responded with a bright smile like a golden retriever: "I like this kind of Yukino the most."

"Yuigahama…"

Yukinoshita Yukino's expression was sowhat complex.

"Instead of that, I brought cookies! Want to share so~"

Yuigahama Yui skillfully changed the subject: "Don't worry, I bought them at a dessert shop on the way, so you don't need to look so wary… In fact, if we don't eat them soon, Anna will…"

"Excuse ~"

Before Yuigahama Yui could finish her sentence, the door to the Service Club activity room was opened again from the outside.

Yanami Anna skipped lively into the room: "I think I just heard soone call my na?"

Yuigahama Yui paused for half a second in her action of pulling cookies out of her bag, then greeted Yanami with a stiff smile: "Anna, you're here so early today…"

"Because Asakura was constantly sighing while writing sothing today, it was a bit annoying, and the snacks didn't even taste good in the classroom—" The blue-haired girl, whose seat in the classroom was very close to Asakura's, complained discontentedly: "So I just ca here early to take refuge today. Oh, are those cookies? Can I have so?"

"Of course, no problem…"

Yuigahama Yui reluctantly handed the cookie package to Yanami: "But if you could, please be gentle with them, and leave a few for …"

"Wow—these shortbread cookies are too delicious!"

Yanami Anna bit into the cookie with wide eyes, as if the whole world had beco wonderful. "Look, the edges of this cookie are crispy, but the middle is soft and fluffy. The mont you bite into it, the aroma of butter and the sweetness of sugar explode in your mouth! It's already so amazing, yet the scent of wheat flour isn't covered at all. The perfect baking actually brings out its unique aroma—a masterpiece… no, it can already be called art! I'm super touched!"

"No, it's not that delicious…"

Even Yuigahama Yui herself wondered if she had accidentally bought cookies with so strange ingredients.

"What is Asakura writing?"

Compared to the cookies, Yukinoshita Yukino was more concerned about what Asakura, whom the girl ntioned, was doing.

"I didn't look closely, but it seed like he was writing a lot of shrimp on the paper?"

Yanami Anna tried hard to recall: "Maybe he wanted to eat shrimp."

"Shrimp?"

Yuigahama Yui tilted her head in confusion, clearly unable to figure out why Asakura would suddenly write that.

Yukinoshita Yukino, however, after pondering for a mont, suddenly asked: "Are you sure it was shrimp (エビ, Ebi) and not snake (ヘビ, Hebi)?"

"Eh?"

Yanami Anna, still holding a cookie in her mouth, blinked, then shook her head and replied: "I'm not sure."

Yukino: "…"

At least be reliable!
