Both Mai and Tohru were already used to Rei Ao coming and going to other worlds. Futaba, however, ca back looking exhausted—legs weak, body limp—heading to her room to rest. That made Mai feel a little jealous. She didn't need to guess what those two had been up to for the past couple of days "out there."

Sumika blushed fiercely, feeling as though her friend was teasing her about being an older woman chasing after a younger man. anwhile, across town, Rei Ao examined the ssages on his phone with a quizzical smile. He could tell right away there were at least two people on the other side, each typing differently. One of them seed to be teasing about going on a date.
In any case, he was fine with it—he actually saw it as a nice perk. It was like soone handing him a pillow just when he was ready to nap. If he t this friend who was encouraging the date, he'd definitely give her the "Best Mischievous Wingman" award.
