A Busy Shopping Street.

Inside a lavishly decorated gold shop, three very unusual custors had just arrived.
As usual, the shop assistant greeted them.
But when she took a good look at the trio, her heart skipped a beat.
Never mind that they were all large in stature—just their overall appearance already stood out:

Fujimiya Sumika shouted in horror, only to catch a flash of sothing out of the corner of her eye.
In the blink of an eye—
"Uh…"
She froze.
Because the robbers who had been running away a second ago were now sprawled on the ground, limbs flung wide.
"Oww…"
"Argh, it hurts!"
All three robbers lay on the pavent, clutching their stomachs in pain, unable to move.
And Rei Ao, who had just been standing next to Sumika, was now sohow right in front of Sawae.
Rei Ao lowered his fist, then pulled out his phone in a rather dismissive manner and dialed the police.
"Hello, this is XXX. Three robbers attempted a robbery here, but I've subdued them. Please send officers as soon as possible."
Better to leave these guys to the proper authorities.

Then he gave instructions: "Fujimiya, why don't you take Sawae sowhere to check whether she's hurt?"
The manager of the gold shop quickly spoke up. "We have a fitting room you can use."
"Thanks."
"No, no, we should be the ones thanking you! You were amazing—subduing three robbers all on your own."
Not only the staff but a gathering crowd began to shower Rei Ao with praise.
It was only after the police arrived to take the robbers away that the onlookers finally dispersed.
Rei Ao, Sawae, and the store's staff had to go to the station to give statents.
The officers were quite astonished—this was already the second case Rei Ao had solved that day (the first involving illicit photography, and now a robbery). It was certainly uncommon.
By the ti they finished all the paperwork and ca out of the police station, it was already dusk.
Sawae lowered her head, embarrassed. "Sorry, because of , your date got completely interrupted."
"Well, it was beyond our control. I'm just glad you're not hurt," Sumika said with a smile.
"Besides, it was actually pretty exciting to have all that happen in one day."
Indeed—it had been one incident after another: first the hidden-cara creep, then a robbery.
"Sumika's right. As long as you're not hurt…" Rei Ao added, "Though about that date… Was this really a date?"
He gave Fujimiya Sumika a playful look.
"Um…"
That was when she realized—they hadn't actually been on a date at all!
"I—I don't think it counts…haha…"

Awkward silence fell among the three.
Sawae was fretting. She had co to play wingman and strategist, yet ended up making things a ss for Sumika.
"This ti doesn't count," Rei Ao spoke up. "But if there's a next ti, and I invite you, Sumika—would you turn down?"
In truth, it hadn't been "ruined" at all. Rei Ao was soone who took the initiative.
If he was interested, he'd pursue it openly.
"Huh?"
His words left Sumika flustered. She couldn't believe what she'd just heard.
He had called her "Sumika" so intimately…
Fujimiya Sumika's heart pounded, her mind going blank.
She forgot to respond until Sawae gave her a nudge in the side and frantically winked at her.
At the sa ti, she caught a glimpse of Sawae holding up her phone to show a ssage:
"Act a bit reserved, but agree to it."

Though she didn't understand why she needed to pretend to play coy, Sumika followed along anyway.
"Ahem… If it's an invitation from you, Rei Ao, I don't really have a reason to say no."
Of course, their little signals and hints weren't lost on Rei Ao. But he rely pretended not to notice and gave a nod. "That's enough for ."
He then offered, "You must be exhausted after all this. Let take you both ho."
"Oh…okay."
So Rei Ao hailed a cab and dropped both of them off at Sumika's place.
Sawae said she was going to hang out at her house, so she got out of the taxi, too.
After watching the cab drive off, Sawae couldn't help sighing wistfully, "Sumika, you've found yourself a really great guy!"
"Huh?"
Sumika was left utterly perplexed.
