Mrs. Yukinoshita sipped her tea to settle her thoughts, then shifted the topic to sothing more personal—sothing she cared deeply about.
"Rei Ao-kun, may I ask… what is the nature of your relationship with my daughter?"

Haruno instantly perked up. While the matters of monsters and the hidden world had been shocking, nothing trumped her love for her sister. Especially when it ca to sothing as important as Yukino's romantic life.
Yukino tensed up, clearly nervous under her mother's gaze. Rei Ao, however, openly wrapped an arm around Yukino's slim waist and answered without hesitation:
"Yukino and I are together out of mutual love. I intend to marry her in the future, to have children with her, and spend the rest of our lives together."

Yukino looked up at Rei Ao with wide eyes, stunned. She hadn't expected him to make such a bold declaration in front of her family.
Until now, she had been following him half-blindly, not sure where their relationship was headed.
But in that mont, she felt the certainty of his intentions. She gently leaned into his shoulder, a tender smile blooming as she imagined a future raising children with him.

Both Haruno and Mrs. Yukinoshita were left speechless. Rei Ao's blunt confession shocked them, and Yukino's silent agreent shook them even more.

As she set the cup down, her breath instantly frosted the table in front of her.

Haruno cried out in surprise. Yukino looked down and was shocked to see her black hair transforming into a glimring icy blue.
"Don't be afraid," Rei Ao said gently. "Focus your mind. Control the power within."

Yukino closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Slowly, her hair color reverted to its original black. She opened her eyes—eyes now filled with wonder. Sothing extraordinary had awakened inside her.
But it wasn't over yet.
"Take this next," Rei Ao said, handing her the awakening stone.
Without hesitation, Yukino activated it. A flash of light passed, and a second power awakened within her—one that resonated with the first, fusing into a singular elent.
Then, in front of her family, Rei Ao leaned in and kissed her lips.
The blessing was complete. Yukino had officially transford.

Yukino quickly reined in her power, realizing she'd accidentally caused harm.
"Mother, sister—are you alright?!"

The two won exchanged a look, eyes filled with disbelief and awe.

Haruno finally found her voice.
"Yukino… what is going on?"
"Let explain," Rei Ao said, stepping in before Yukino could struggle to answer. She gave him a grateful look.
"As Mrs. Yukinoshita ntioned, ordinary people and I don't mix well."
"So, I awakened Yukino's power and gave her my blessing. That way, we can spend the next ten million years together."
"T-Ten million years?!"
Haruno and her mother both gasped.
Was this exaggeration? Or so truth wrapped in mystery?
"Rei Ao…"
Yukino didn't know how to express what she felt. She had no doubts about his words—but that made her feel even more unworthy. He's given so much… what can I possibly give him in return?
With that thought, she made a bold decision.
Before her mother and sister's very eyes, she stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Rei Ao's neck—and kissed him deeply.
And Rei Ao, sensing her resolve, kissed her back without hesitation.
