"Where's Rei Ao?"
After saying goodbye to her father, Asami Lilith wanted to find Rei Ao and thank him. Not seeing him anywhere, she turned to Kazama Levi and the others for information.
"Rei Ao? He's probably at Hijiri's dorm right now."
"Alright, thanks!"
Upon hearing this, Lilith imdiately spun around and ran off toward Kasuga Hijiri's dorm.
"Wait…"
Yamana Mira tried to say sothing, but Lilith was already gone.
"Umm… we didn't tell her what Rei Ao's doing there. Think she'll be okay?"
Fudou Akio scratched her head.
"…"
Yamana Mira's lips twitched; then she let out a cold huff.
"Whatever. Not our problem."

"Um… does that sort of thing really feel good?"
At that point, Kurata Yui raised her hand with a timid question.
"???"
Kazama Levi eyed her warily.
"Why do you want to know that?"
"Well… Rei Ao helped so much. I was thinking I should repay him sohow," Kurata Yui said, blushing.
"But I—I've never tried anything like that, so I'm not sure…"
Hearing that, Yatogami Tohka recalled that Rei Ao had also helped her. She, too, wondered how to "repay" him.
"Huh?"
Yamana Mira found it unbelievable.
"What kind of 'repaynt' is that? What on earth are you thinking?"
"Eh? So that's not a thing?"
Kurata Yui tilted her head in confusion.

All eyes turned toward the person who'd just spoken: Ai Hayasaka, who had been silent until now.
"You're kidding, right? There's no way people do that!"
Yamana Mira was baffled, suspecting Ai was joking.
Yet Ai Hayasaka remained serious.
"I'm not joking. In the world I co from, there's a fair number of literary works and historical tales depicting exactly that sort of repaynt."
She herself found it pretty outlandish, though.
"…"
Yamana Mira went silent. She didn't really understand otherworldly cultures—or even normal human culture in her own world. She couldn't exactly prove Ai wrong.
"Oh my, so that kind of repaynt is possible."
Fudou Akio blinked curiously.
"Hey, Admiral, we've also been helped by Rei Ao before, right? Shouldn't we repay him, too?"
Kurata Yui's eyes lit up.
"That's perfect—then we can all do it together!"
"R-repay him… t-together?"
Yamana Mira looked like she'd just heard sothing world-shattering, her mind blank.
"What on earth are you all talking about?! That's obviously not possible—never possible!"
"R-right, Levi?"
She cast a desperate look at Kazama Levi. Mira was convinced that Yui and her senpai must've been brainwashed by lust or sothing. Only Levi—"the calm one"—would save the day.

Kazama Levi frowned thoughtfully, then said, "It's not entirely out of the question." Because she did have positive feelings for Rei Ao. He was strong, had saved her life, and was also a Demon King. He was worthy in her eyes as a man who could stand beside the "strongest ninja."
"Huh?!?!"
Yamana Mira's jaw dropped. She never expected Levi to say sothing like that. Looking around, she realized she was now completely outnumbered.
Why is everyone acting so… open-minded?!
"…"
Ai Hayasaka silently watched the expressions around her, feeling a swirl of complicated emotions. She had a sense that she might have just opened a rather dangerous Pandora's box with her single comnt.
I hope this won't cause any real trouble…

Knock-knock!
Arriving at Kasuga Hijiri's house, Lilith rapped on the door. Hearing no imdiate answer, she realized the door had quietly swung open on its own.
"Huh?"
Peeking in, Lilith called softly:
"Hijiri? Rei Ao? I'm coming in."
After a mont of silence, with no reply, she decided to step inside.
"No one's ho?"
Just as she stepped through the entrance—

She glanced back to see the door closing behind her.
"Must've been the wind?"
Feeling a bit uneasy, Lilith headed toward the living room. The hallway was eerily quiet, as if no sound existed.
Yet the mont she stepped into the living room, the air was suddenly full of noise—like turning off "mute" mode on a TV. And that's when Lilith's mind went blank. She froze at the doorway, stunned by the very intense scene before her.
Even more shocking, Kannazuki Arin was right there against the wall less than half a ter away from Lilith, supporting herself in a rather…compromised position.
"What brings you here?"
Arin, and then Rei Ao—who was likewise very close to Lilith—both turned to her with a smile.
"I… g-gulp…"
Lilith swallowed hard, any words she'd intended to say dying in her throat.
Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here?
Her brain practically short-circuited at the sight. She'd known Kasuga Hijiri, Selena, and Lieselotte were "involved," but… Arin too? And so… outrageous?!
Arin bit her lip, clearly embarrassed to be seen by Lilith. But there was no hiding it. In fact, Lilith's sudden appearance only made Arin tense up more, which seed to amuse Rei Ao and spur him on further.
With Lilith unable to speak, Rei Ao's attention drifted back to Arin…
A short while later…
"!!!"
Lilith watched as a taphorical geyser erupted, and Arin slid slowly down the wall. Rei Ao turned his focus to Lilith.
"I thought you'd leave, but here you are. Thinking of joining us?"
He teased.
"…"
Lilith's face was bright as a ripe apple, her eyes twitching wildly.
"Eek!"
At last she found it in herself to shriek and whirl away from them.
"W-what are you guys doing?!"
"Doing?"
Lieselotte sauntered up, wrapping her arms around Rei Ao's waist from behind.
"Isn't it obvious? This is how we express our love."
"You're the trespasser here, Lilith."
"I…"
Lilith had no response. Technically, she had entered on her own, though Rei Ao might have orchestrated the unlocked door…
"Lilith," Lieselotte continued, "if you're not here to join us, then at least hurry up and say whatever you ca for and get out. Quit interrupting. This is our love nest."
"…"
Lilith clenched her teeth. She spun around, shutting her eyes and bowing at a full ninety degrees.
"I—I just ca to thank you, Rei Ao, for sparing my father's life!"
Rei Ao's face twitched slightly.
Thank all you want, but do you realize what you're pressing against right now?
At that exact mont, Lilith—still bent forward at ninety degrees—was pushing right up against him from the front…
