"I thought you were just being polite earlier, I didn't expect you to actually show up."

Liu ier stared at Seito, a playful grin on her face. When she had invited him previously, she assud he was just engaging in social pleasantries. Seeing him actually arrive made her genuinely happy.

"When a Princess personally invites , there's no reason not to co," Seito replied with a faint smile.

"It's perfect timing; I was just discussing your situation with Tianrou," Mia Snow interjected.

"My situation?" Seito asked, puzzled.

"Yes," Mia Snow nodded. "As the Emperor of Snezhnaya, you must be well aware of the current state of the Endless Continent."

"Indeed." Seito nodded.

Over the past month, White Wind's rank had been promoted to Imperial Grand General. The reason was simple: he had already brought four-fifths of the Endless Continent's land under the banner of the Snezhnaya Empire. Only one-fifth remained. At the rate he was going, the final territories would likely fall within the next few days. Once that happened, Seito would be the true Master of the 30th Floor in every sense of the word.

"I was just discussing that very matter with Tianrou," Mia Snow explained.

Seito nodded and turned his gaze toward the Lamia Queen. "Queen, would you be interested in visiting the Snezhnaya Empire as a guest?"

"Emperor Seito, I have no plans to travel at the mont," Liu Tianrou replied, shaking her head. "You are on the verge of unifying the 30th Floor. Once you do, you will gain the authority of a Floor Master. At that point, you will be able to freely open a permanent gateway between the 30th and 28th floors."

Liu Tianrou saw no need to rush. Visiting after Seito had officially unified the continent would be soon enough.

Seito was montarily stunned. He hadn't realized Floor Masters held such specific administrative powers. It seed his previous concerns about migration were redundant. Though he had been turned down, he didn't mind; gaining information about Floor Master perks made the trip worthwhile.

After chatting for a while longer and solidifying a deep friendship with the Lamia tribe, Seito bid farewell to the two Queens and led the Harbingers away.

9:00 PM, Seito's House.

After logging off, Seito removed his gaming helt and collapsed onto his bed, drifting into a deep sleep.

Ti skipped forward to 6:30 the next morning. Awakening slowly, Seito let out a long yawn. He got dressed, stretched, and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

Amou and Kanade were already up and busy in the kitchen. Once Seito finished his morning routine, he poked his head into the kitchen.

"What's for breakfast?"

"Sandwiches and miso soup," Amou replied.

Seito nodded, then asked, "And for lunch?" Breakfast could be simple, but lunch had to be substantial.

"I haven't started yet, but Kanade seems to have a craving for Mapo Tofu," Amou said, pointing toward Kanade.

Seito turned to see Kanade working on the dish. Her technique wasn't exactly professional, but she had been practicing for the two months she'd lived there.

"Kanade, go take a break. I'll handle this," Seito said, stepping in and taking the utensils from her. Kanade didn't argue and quietly stepped aside.

Seito took over the cooking. He decided on Mapo Tofu bowls for lunch and started steaming so rice to go with it.

Around 7:00 AM, Amou and Kanade finished their breakfast, leaving a portion for Seito. By then, the rice was ready, and Seito packed it into three lunchboxes.

He erged from the kitchen carrying the lunchboxes, downed his miso soup in one go, and grabbed his sandwich.

"Let's head out."

"Okay."

"I'll take the lunchboxes. You guys can just co over to Class E to eat at noon," Amou said, taking the containers from Seito.

"Sounds like a plan," Seito replied.

The three of them left the building and walked toward the academy. Before long, they spotted Yukino, Shoko, and Rikka up ahead. Seito quickened his pace, finished the last of his sandwich, and produced a roll of bandages, which he began wrapping around his right hand.

Having completed his "transformation," he stepped forward. Rikka was the first to sense an anomaly behind them. Without hesitation, she spun around, whipped out her umbrella, and pointed it at Seito.

"I am the Wielder of the Wicked Eye! You who stalks us... what is your objective?!"

Seeing this, Seito clutched his bandaged right hand dramatically. "I am the Sovereign of Thunder from the Prinzessin der Verurteilung. I have co to investigate one who shares the sa aura as I."

The other girls watched the two of them in stoic silence.

"The sa aura?" Rikka gasped. "Could it be?!"

"Souta! It is exactly the 'could it be' that you are thinking of!" Seito's gaze sharpened, locking onto her.

Rikka's hand flew to her eyepatch. "Has the ti finally co for the seal of the Wicked Eye to be broken?"

With a flourish, she ripped the eyepatch away.

"Reality, be rent!"

"Synapses, shatter!"

"Banishnt... this world!"

Seito and the others: "?!!"

As Rikka shouted her chuunibyou lines, the five onlookers were completely dumbfounded. From their perspective, the mont she finished her incantation, a brilliant golden light erupted from her right eye!

Seito was baffled. What the hell? This never happened before!

The five of them stared at Rikka with deadly serious expressions.

"Uh..." Having finished her dramatic delivery, the chuunibyou girl finally noticed the shift in the atmosphere. She glanced at the grave faces of Seito and the others and imdiately fell silent.

The entire scene lapsed into a heavy, awkward quiet.
