[Weapon: Space Set (God Rank)]
His Divine Power had reached 81,000! He'd also gained a level; today's harvest was exceptionally bountiful.
Closing his personal panel, Seito announced, "Let's call it a day. I have to wake up early tomorrow since I still have to go to the academy."
"Alright, you head off first. We're going to grind for a bit longer."
With that, Seito logged off and left the ga.
Whoosh—!
Reappearing in his living room, Seito made a beeline for his bedroom. He threw himself onto the bed and fell into a deep sleep instantly.
The night passed without a word, and soon it was 7:30 AM.
At this ti, Sobu High School should have already started morning self-study. Seito wondered how they planned to fix the damage he'd caused to the playground yesterday, but then again, that was Chairwoman Minami's problem.
Seito got up, dressed, and perford a quick wash in the bathroom. Grabbing the breakfast Amou had left for him, he used Spatial Shift to depart.
Sobu High School, Class 1-D.
The students had no heart for morning study. Their eyes were glued to the construction crews that had arrived earlier that morning to repair the playground.
Principal Minami had already pushed the Cultural Festival back to next week.
In the midst of the restless atmosphere, a figure suddenly materialized in Seito's seat. The sudden appearance gave Kaguya Shinomiya and Eriri a massive fright.
"Yo, Shizuka-sensei! I'm not late, am I?" Seito greeted, taking a large bite of his sandwich.
"Have you completely given up on subtlety?" Shizuka Hiratsuka looked at him with an exasperated sigh.
Using teleportation to get to school? In this entire world, only you would co up with such a brazen stunt.
"I'm not hiding it anymore! I'm laying my cards on the table! I'm an esper!" Seito joked playfully.
He didn't consider this "letting himself go." It wouldn't be long before the Eastern country officially announced the manifestation of God Domain powers anyway. Using Spatial Shift just to cut down on his commute wasn't a big deal.
"Sigh." Shizuka shook her head with a helpless smile. Well, he was her man; what else could she do?
Looking out over the class, Shizuka cleared her throat. "We're skipping self-study this morning. I have sothing to discuss regarding our plans for the future."
The students' attention snapped to her imdiately. Shizuka scanned the room, lingering on Seito and the others who had manifested their powers.
"Everyone in this class who has manifested their ga abilities, please stand up. For the record, Chabashira-sensei and I have also manifested ours."
The class froze. Both Hiratsuka-sensei and Chabashira-sensei had manifested powers? And there were others in class besides them and Seito?
The only one who knew the inside story, Rikka Takanashi, looked at Shizuka on the podium with pure, unadulterated envy. She wanted to manifest her Tyrant's Eye too! So jealous!
Scritch-scratch—!
In the next mont, Seito and Yukino Yukinoshita stood up without hesitation. Maple and Risa exchanged a glance before following suit. Shoko Nishimiya saw them and slowly rose to her feet as well.
The sight of the five standing students left everyone stunned. Every single person who had manifested their power was connected to the Fatui! Even Yukino, given that her sister was a Harbinger.
Hachiman and Kirito stiffened. It turned out that they, as high-ranking "officers," were the only ones kept in the dark!
The two exchanged a long, silent look.
Hachiman didn't think much of it, but Kirito's mind was racing with a thousand thoughts.
The Harbingers and so officers have manifested powers? As a high-tier veteran officer, it's only logical for to get mine too, right? Iori and Hidenori haven't manifested anything yet either. If I manifest my power right in front of them... I can finally dump all over them!
Hehehe...!
As his imagination ran wild, Kirito let out a creepy grin. His expression weirded out the rest of the class, but they chose to ignore him.
Shizuka looked at the seated students.
"Does anyone here not have these five on their social dia yet? Add them now."
Her idea was simple: make sure everyone had a direct line to Seito and the others. If trouble broke out, they could call for imdiate backup.
"Shizuka-sensei, why don't I just have everyone add my ID?" Seito volunteered proactively.
"Oh?" Shizuka gave him her signature "dead-fish eye" stare. "Which little girl have you set your sights on now?"
"Shizuka-sensei, don't go accusing like that. Am I really that kind of person?" Seito said with a perfectly straight face. "I have the Spatial Talent. If I get an alert, I can teleport there instantly to save everyone. This is purely for the safety of my classmates!"
That is exactly the kind of person you are! everyone thought in unison.
However, they couldn't deny his logic. Regardless of his ulterior motives, his spatial ability was undeniably the fastest for ergency support. Adding Seito was a win-win.
Seito's plan was indeed simple: he wanted every girl's contact info. As for the boys? He only wanted them to add him so they wouldn't go trying to add his wives.
"Fine. Go ahead," Shizuka agreed, deciding his reasoning was sound enough.
Grinning, Seito whipped out his phone and turned to Kaguya Shinomiya behind him.
"Kaguya-san, give your social ID."
"Uh..." Kaguya pulled out her smartphone and froze. Although she had finally switched to a smartphone, she had no idea how to operate it. She was still used to her old flip-phone.
Seeing her struggle, Seito let out a teasing, punchable laugh. "Don't tell our Great Young Lady doesn't even know how to use a smartphone?"
