Anime Multiverse: Starting by Teaming Up with Maple, the Shield Girl! Chapter 60 60: The First Golden Equipment is Born! The Spati
.....
God's Domain, Floor 12
Appearing at the exact spot where he had logged off, Seito didn't waste a second. He imdiately used a teleportation scroll to head back to Feiling City on Floor 11.
Upon arrival, he made a beeline for the City Lord's Mansion. He moved through the familiar corridors and knocked on the office door he had visited previously.
"Enter."
Cang Feiyun's voice drifted from within. Seito pushed the door open and shut it behind him.
"Oh, it's you." Cang Feiyun looked up and smiled. "Take a seat."
Seito sat on the sofa while Cang Feiyun stood up to pour two cups of hot water, sitting down beside him. "I heard from other adventurers that the Floor 11 Boss, the Phantom Mage, has been slain. I assu your team was responsible." He handed a cup to Seito.
"Yeah," Seito nodded simply.
"Excellent!" Cang Feiyun looked at Seito with genuine appreciation. "You have passed my trial. Now, it is ti to settle your quest rewards."
As he spoke, he pulled out a pulsating purple crystal and handed it to Seito.
[System: Quest Completed!]
[Reward Obtained: Spatial Crystal (Orange/Legendary Material)]
[Description: A special crystal imbued with the power of space. When used in crafting, it grants the equipnt powerful spatial amplification properties.]
"Wait, this is...!" Seito's eyes widened.
Why was he receiving the Spatial Crystal now? Wasn't this supposed to be the objective for the upcoming "Ancient Ruins" quest? He turned to the smiling Cang Feiyun. "If you're giving this to now, what happens to the Ancient Ruins quest reward?"
Cang Feiyun rubbed his chin, his smile deepening. "I have decided to add a Gold-grade material as the final reward for that mission instead."
Seito nodded, satisfied. A Gold material was an even higher tier. He stowed the Spatial Crystal away imdiately.
Today might be the day the first Golden Equipnt in all of God's Domain is born, he thought excitedly.
"In that case, I'll take my leave," Seito stood up.
"Of course," Cang Feiyun said pleasantly. "I look forward to seeing the look on your faces when you finally reach the Ancient Ruins."
"I'm looking forward to it too," Seito replied with a smile.
The mont he stepped out and closed the door, the smile vanished from his face.
"I really hate 'closed-eye' characters," he muttered. Whether the trope "squinty-eyed characters are monsters" was true or not, dealing with a high-ranking official who never opened his eyes made Seito feel incredibly uneasy.
But as he felt the weight of the Spatial Crystal in his inventory, his mood soared. He finally had all the components.
Seito imdiately activated Kamui, vanishing into his private pocket dinsion.
.....
The Forge of the Gods.
Looking at the mountain of speed-oriented materials he had hoarded in the Kamui space, he approached the master crafting bench.
In God's Domain, the quality of a weapon depended heavily on the player's precision. Those who were professional blacksmiths or industrial engineers in the real world had significantly higher success rates. Seito wasn't a blacksmith, aning the risk of the item "downgrading" during the craft was massive.
However, he had a secret weapon: Luck.
He believed that after spending so much ti around an "SS-Rank Luck" mascot like Shiro, he must have rubbed off enough "Golden Luck" to succeed on the first try.
He stripped off his entire White Dragon Set.
"Wait, can this downgraded ring still be used as a base?" Seito looked at the Blue-grade White Dragon Ring in his hand.
[Notification: The 'White Dragon Ring' was originally Orange-grade. To use it as a base for crafting, you must add one additional Orange-grade material.]
Seito nodded. That was fine. He had already decided on his primary target: The White Dragon Straight Blade.
Since he was using a Spatial Crystal, using his primary weapon as the core would maximize his combat efficiency.
He fired up the forge and, with a bold move, tossed all the rare materials—including the White Dragon Straight Blade—into the furnace at once. For any other player, this would be suicide. Crafting usually required ticulous lting, hamring, and shaping. But Seito was banking on the sheer quality of the Gold materials to force a successful fusion.
Ti slowed down. Thirty minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
Suddenly, the furnace erupted with a thunderous BOOM!
A silver-white Tachi (straight katana) flew out of the forge, hovering in mid-air. Purple dragon scales shimred along the scabbard and the blade, glowing with an ethereal, intimidating aura. It looked sharp enough to cut through reality itself.
[Spatial Dragon Blade (Gold Quality)]
[Effect 1: Windwalker — When attacking with this blade, Attack Power is calculated as 1000% of your Speed attribute.]
[Set Effect (Spatial Set 1/5): Spatial Deprivation — Killing a target with this blade allows you to absorb 1 to 10 points of the target's Speed attribute. If the target possesses Divine Power, the blade will prioritize absorbing Divine Power!]
[Evolution Requirent: Nourish the equipnt with a minimum of 100 points of Divine Power.]
[Buyback Price: ???]
"This is insane!"
Seito gripped the hilt, unable to look away. The first effect alone was a ten-fold multiplier!
Previously, with the White Dragon Straight Blade, his basic attacks were roughly 15,000 damage. Now? A single casual swing would deal upwards of 80,000 damage. He had effectively increased his output by ten tis with a single weapon.
If he fought the Floor 11 Boss again now, he could probably solo the encounter in under thirty minutes.
Then there was the set attribute. Even with only one piece, the effect was active. It allowed him to permanently steal stats—or even Divine Power—from his enemies. If he completed the full 5-piece set, the multiplier on that effect would likely be terrifying.
"I need to hunt for more Orange or Gold materials related to Space and Dragons," Seito mused.
Finally, his eyes settled on the last line. This was the key to turning this weapon into a true Divine Artifact.
