He headed to the kitchen for a late-night snack. Ten minutes later, as the sll of stir-fried pork filled the air, both Amou and Kanade erged from their rooms.

Kanade's face froze when she saw Amou walking out of Seito's bedroom. "Seito-kun... why was she in your room?" she asked, her voice tinged with a rare hint of anxiety.

"She went in there on her own," Seito replied truthfully.

"Don't be like that, Kanade-chan. You should just move in with us too," Amou added nonchalantly.

Seito nodded internally. As expected of my best friend—always looking out for my interests!

"Understood," Kanade replied with a deadpan, serious nod.

The three shared a quick al before heading to bed.

Sunlight hit Seito's face, ending a sweet, restful sleep. He washed up and found the girls already awake.

"I'm heading to the Yukinoshita's today. You two handle lunch yourselves," Seito said, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Okay. Not staying for breakfast?" Amou asked.

"Nah, I'll grab sothing with Haruno."

Seito stepped out into the hallway, only to see the neighboring door open. Haruno and Yukino stepped out, the elder sister yawning while the younger looked sharp and elegant.

"Seito-chan, you're up early~" Haruno teased. "Yukino-chan told you usually sleep until noon."

Yukino's face flushed pink at the ntion. Seito glanced at her and then back to Haruno. "Is 'Flatty' coming too?"

"My na is YUKINO!"

"Got it, got it~"

"..." Yukino glared at him. Her "good mood" for the day had officially evaporated.

They headed downstairs to a waiting black sedan. Haruno naturally took the front passenger seat, leaving Seito and Yukino in the back. As the car moved, Seito stared out the window at the passing shops, realizing he'd forgotten to buy breakfast.

"Here, your breakfast." Haruno handed back a sandwich to him and one to Yukino.

"Thanks." Seito started eating, occasionally glancing at the way Yukino ate—every movent was precise, elegant, and refined.

"What is it, Pervert-kun?" Yukino snapped, her cheeks heating up under his gaze.

"Just looking." Seito turned away, his mind wandering to so "famous quotes" from his past life.
