The soldiers fired at the tower, but to no avail. The Spear Saint attacked it as well, but the barrier didn't even scratch.
"What is happening?" The soldiers panicked, not knowing what they were supposed to do. This had never happened before.
On the other hand, Carrick gritted his teeth, realizing that he had failed. The tower had been activated, but more importantly, he couldn't even stop Clovis from entering the tower.
This was his ho country. He had all the advantages, yet Clovis managed to surpass his imagination by bringing Mara Leverstrike.
"Damn it." Carrick cursed. He looked around before saying, "Steve."
"Yes, sir?!" The commander of the base rushed to him, wondering what they were supposed to do next.
"We've been breached. Prepare for the breach protocol. I also want you to contact reinforcents from other places. Get down there and set up a line of defense to stop them."
"But can we actually stop Mara Leverstrike, sir?" Steve wasn't so sure after seeing how powerful Mara was.
"No. Just slow them down. I will lead the team down once we're able to go down. Get ready to charge fast."
Steve nodded. "Understood."
Without wasting any ti, he began preparing for the pursuit. He contacted all the relevant parties for the next step, including the president.
Carrick, on the other hand, didn't expect Clovis to outwit him. He first fooled him by assassinating his family mbers.
If this matter were known, it would be seen as the Libation Fiesta defeating them. Besides, there was no proof of the murder, so if he blad the Libation Fiesta for this assassination, they could try to sue him, which made the situation even worse for the lesviet family.
Surely, the Hacfield family would do everything in their power to make it look like this was the Hacfield family's victory.
In the past, the lesviet family managed to defeat the Hacfield family and suppress them for decades, so if this fact were made public, he couldn't imagine what would happen.
But there was nothing else he could do other than wait. As long as he could catch Clovis or any other mbers of the Libation Fiesta, the narrative would change.

While Carrick was thinking about what he should do next, Clovis and the others were quite surprised by the tower.
The tower was lit perfectly as though it wasn't a tower. Usually, this place would be dimly lit, and there would be a sky elevator to bring them up and down.
But in this place, the tower was lit up as though it had been studied completely. In fact, there seed to be many transparent cases on the walls, making it look like an art gallery rather than a tower.
"What is this place?" Kanaria gasped while looking around. "I have never seen anything like this before."
"So, there's a tower like this too?" Angelia was amazed. This was the first ti she had entered the first tower, considering she had to take care of matters in her ho country during the team's first dive.
A few mbers were rather curious about Clovis' reaction. The last ti they entered a special tower, Clovis and lody acted weird, as though they were able to see sothing they couldn't.
They had never seen and could only believe what they told them.
So, being able to see everything clearly this ti made them wonder if Clovis and lody would have a different reaction.
It turned out Clovis and lody weren't the only ones who seed to have found sothing special. Mara also noticed it.

"Hmm?" Clovis widened his eyes in shock. "This is…"
lody asked, "Did you see the sa thing?"
"Tower of Administrators?"
"Yes." lody nodded furiously.
For Clovis and lody, it would be 2/7 since they had visited the Tower of Darkness. Mara, on the other hand, only had 1/7. This was the first ti she had entered this kind of tower.
In the past, to figure out the system, she thought about going around the world to search for her answer. She wandered aimlessly until she found the answer.
It turned out that the answer had been hidden all this ti. The world leaders might have known sothing about this, so they concealed this fact.
It was no wonder that she could only find people with the systems from ti to ti, but not the answer to it.
She couldn't help but wonder if there was a special reason why she gave Clovis her unique ability. It shouldn't happen in this world, so the special towers, the system, and the unique ability sharing might actually be connected.
It looked like the Libation Fiesta, specifically Clovis, would be her guide to figure out this answer.
On the one hand, she didn't plan to go easy on Clovis, even though she wanted the answer. If she intentionally lost to Clovis, she would join the Libation Fiesta.

"So, this is the Tower of Beasts. It contains all the information about the beasts…" Luci gasped.
Suddenly, her head was ringing violently.
"Aaahhh!" Luci abruptly scread, clutched her head, and fell to her knees.
"!!!" Everyone was surprised and hurriedly ca to help her.
Luci kept screaming. At the sa ti, a system ford before her.

The red system suddenly appeared and soon shattered into pieces before a blue one appeared.
