Carrick gritted his teeth, having a headache. Even he didn’t know how to handle the situation. On the one hand, if he did nothing, the situation would beco even more chaotic. On the other hand, everything he did would make the situation worse.
People would start trying to break into the base and enter the tower to find out the result. They couldn’t change the tower, considering everything in the tower couldn’t be changed.
If they destroyed the light, it would make things suspicious. They would definitely bring flashlights. Once they found out about it, they would say that the governnt was hiding it from them.
If they captured these people, the people would say the sa thing. They expected the governnt to show it or open the tower to the public.
However, the mont they did it, they would confirm what the Libation Fiesta had revealed. It would make things worse for the entire group that tried to hide the special towers.
"..." Carrick let out a long sigh, not knowing how to handle the situation. If he started killing people to scare them, the narrative would change drastically.
They needed to co up with a story, but it would also confirm the rumors about the special towers.

anwhile, Clovis and the rest of the team were celebrating their success.
"Congrats. This is the second tower. We have five more." Clovis smiled.
"Unlike the first tower, we’re able to see what’s inside the second tower. It’s good to know about it instead of being clueless." Kanaria chuckled.
"Indeed." Rin offered a toast. "I wonder what the other towers represent. The special tower should be the foundation of this world, right? The first tower contains the code of this world, while the second tower contains the information about the beasts in this world."
"Who knows? Rather than thinking what’s inside them, I’m more curious about where they are." Ragna shrugged.
"That’s a good point. Do we have their locations, lody?" Aileen asked.
"We have only found four out of seven towers. The other two are the Tower of the Lake, where the Hacfield family used to reside and the Tower of Wilderness, which was protected by a Tier 9 beast. We don’t know the other three. In fact, we don’t even know whether the Tower of Wilderness is actually one of them. We have a few candidates, but now that we’ve made this information public, the countries that possess the special towers might use other towers to camouflage the real one."
"This is going to be a hassle." Erwin sighed. "Besides, they’re going to use everything they have to stop us."
"Well, I didn’t expect that my journey would even allow to find the secret about this world." Angelia shook her head helplessly. "But this makes quite excited about it."
Clovis nodded with a serious expression. "For the ti being, we should focus on our own improvent. It’s good that we want to enter the special tower, but you must have seen the strength of a Tier 9 human.
"The gap between Tier 8 and Tier 9 humans is simply too massive. Even if we work together, we still have no chance of stopping a Tier 9.
"If we want to, all of us probably need to beco Tier 8 humans first. After all, a Tier 9 human should have mastered their unique ability.
"That’s why we need to beco stronger. We may have to face at least one Tier 9 human every ti we’re trying to enter this tower at this rate. We need to have the power to resist them at the very least, but that’s just the bare minimum. There are plenty of other people who will stop us."

"Maybe we can enter all the towers and find the truth. It’s a sha that not everyone can see it, but the fact that Luci can now see it ans you guys have the chance too."
Many were curious, but Jay remained indifferent. Jay didn’t care about the system or the world unless knowing it could make them stronger.
"Clovis, how about asking people’s help with the next tower? We will turn them into allies, which can beco a pretext to sell the paintings. This way, you can get the money to upgrade the mall.
"You’re about to open it all, right? In that case, you may as well try to open one more store whenever you can." lody asked.
