"NO!"
Elina had been skeptical about the current situation. As soon as Clovis turned the situation around, she got a bad premonition.
When she noticed Ivan's gaze, she realized that Ivan might do sothing foolish. Before Ivan could leave, Elina grabbed his wrist. "No!"
Ivan glared at her as if telling her the implication if they didn't make their move here.
Elina still rembered what happened when they left their position. It seed that Ivan's anger had fully taken care of his rationality. At this rate, he wouldn't be useful to them anymore pretty soon.
Ivan forcefully broke free from her grip, but Vina stood in his way all of a sudden.
"You…" Ivan had been suspicious of her.
"Vina?" Elina looked surprised that Vina, who had always been passive this whole ti, took action.
"I will stop you if you still plan to make this whole ss even more chaotic."
"You really…" Ivan gritted his teeth.
"You need not waste your breath on pointless questions. It's just as you imagine." Vina's eyes started releasing her killing intent as if she were planning to stop him even if it ant cutting him down. "I thank you for all the hospitality you have shown these past months."
"!!!" Elina gasped. Vina actually left this group in such a fashion.
"What is this?"
"Are we having a drama?"
"What drama? If you want drama, just fight these beasts. It will be a good fucking action drama!"
A lot of people were frustrated, including Richard, the Tier 3 explorer in charge of this side.
Clovis actually frowned when he saw their actions. He seed to have changed his thoughts and said, "Kill this ape, Jay."
"Got it!" Jay slashed the ape's back, leaving yet another big wound.
Clovis took out his pistol and shot the ape's face, causing the ape to be unable to spin his upper body as his arms were protecting his face.
Jay looped around and moved to the side. Since the arms were the ones protecting its neck, Jay chose to cut down one of them first while Clovis stopped its movent.
The ape roared in pain.
Clovis moved in the opposite direction and struck the other arm, stopping it from moving. The monkeys noticed what they planned to do and split into two groups, planning to use their lives to crush their plan.
Clovis used his pistol to stop the monkeys and his sword to slash the arm. On the other side, Jay didn't even bother to glance at these monkeys as a grenade suddenly fell between them.
*Boom!*
The explosion blew up several monkeys, giving Jay two precious seconds.
Without hesitation, Jay leaped into the air and slashed the ape's neck with all his strength, wanting to send the head flying.
"!!!" Jay looked surprised after cutting the ape. He glanced at the wound and muttered inwardly, 'It's not cut completely?'
He didn't expect that the neck was actually tougher than he expected. His blade couldn't penetrate all the way to the back of the neck. Still, it managed to reach more than half of the depth, ultimately killing the ape.
*Bam!*
The ape's body fell to the ground.
When Jay saw the monkeys about to reach his position, Clovis appeared in front of him and cut down these enraged monkeys.
"You've killed this ape, so assist him." Clovis pointed to the side.
"!!!" Jay frowned while following the direction Clovis pointed at, finding Reyes in its path. In that instant, Jay understood what he wanted. "Alright."
Without saying another word, Jay disengaged from the battle and headed straight to Reyes, leaving Kanaria and Clovis on this side.
If the Tier 3 ape was still alive, people would definitely complain. However, if they only had to resist these lower tier beasts, Clovis alone should be enough.
After seeing his ability, no one complained about Clovis's decision.
"The Tier 3 beast has been killed. All we need to do is play safe. Rember, don't lose your life foolishly in this place." Clovis shouted.
"Ooh!" The people responded to him. Without them realizing it, Clovis had taken their hearts like a leader.

*Clink!*
Reyes clicked his tongue when the turtle hid inside its shell once again.
Because the other beasts began swarming his side, Reyes had to move back again. Seeing this, the turtle ca out once again.
It was an annoying fight where Reyes couldn't get an advantage because of the beast's tactic.
As soon as the Tier 3 turtle took a step forward, multiple roars suddenly echoed from the side. However, those roars were filled with shock and terror. So even ca from the air.
When the turtle turned its head to the side, it saw Jay approaching at bullet speed. It hurriedly went back inside, but Jay was one step faster and grazed the turtle's mouth.
Even though the turtle was able to hide again, blood started flowing out of the hole in its shell.
Still, Jay didn't want to waste too much stamina dealing with lower tier beasts. He hurriedly joined Reyes on the back.
"You are from that group…" Reyes frowned.
"We've taken care of the Tier 3 beast over there and Clovis… Ahem, my captain is enough to hold the fort over there. We should kill this turtle as quickly as possible since there are a lot of 'unpredictable' variables."
"!!!" Reyes noticed the use of 'unpredictable' instead of 'unknown.' Instead of the Tier 3 beast or hidden danger they didn't know yet, Jay was indirectly implying Ivan as the variable.
It was true. If Ivan made a ss, it would be hard to fight these beasts. This was an outskirt anyway, so it was better to prioritize Hana's safety than their glory.
"I see. It's indeed going to be safer if we manage to kill this Tier 3 beast before the fourth one cos, since there are a lot of things we can do at that point. It seems that your group's reputation is well-deserved."
"My captain told to assist you. You're free to take the kill." Jay shrugged.
"What is your na?" Reyes asked.
"Jay."
"Haha. I should thank your captain after this then. In that case, help take down this Tier 3, Jay."
"Alright."
Both of them looked at the turtle. They both were able to see several paths that opened by simply joining hands.
