Multiple buildings were destroyed in rapid succession.
"Co on!" Friday shouted in anger, moving toward the Tier 6 beast. He jumped into the air and punched the Tier 6 beast in the face.
The punch was strong enough to actually push the beast's upper body to the side. However, the beast actually tilted its body back and used all that montum to strike back.
"Kh!" Friday raised his arms, blocking this attack. However, the force actually launched him for fifty ters until a three-story building 'caught' him.
Friday ended up destroying a few pillars before he managed to stop his montum. After that, he stood up. Despite getting hit so hard, there wasn't a single bruise on his body.
He jumped again, planning to keep the Tier 6 beast in check. "Once more!"
Not far from him, another battle was going on.
Albert ca toward the spider's leg. Due to its size, his short sword wouldn't be that effective.
However, the spider also had a hard ti finding him.
As soon as he reached the spider's leg, he looked up before leaping into the air. He used the leg as his footing to launch himself onto another leg.
He utilized the montum to stab the leg as if he were an arrow. His plan worked because his swords were able to pierce its thick skin. However, due to the size of the spider, Albert was only able to hit the outer layer of its flesh. It wasn't enough to reach the inner flesh, which would result in bleeding.
"Tsk." Albert clicked his tongue. He was frustrated not only because his attack was ineffective but also because the spider had sensed him and started moving.
The spider slamd him with its leg just by moving its entire body.
Albert tried to avoid it, but the surface was simply too big. In the end, he was thrown to the rooftop of a building.
Since it was just a normal movent, Albert managed to land perfectly. After that, he leaped a few more tis, striking the legs hundreds of tis. He even targeted the flesh that had been opened from his previous attacks.
Even though the spider was able to shove him away, the force was simply not powerful enough.
Finally, after trying nurous tis, one of the wounds started bleeding. Albert wasted no ti in widening that wound.
"Reee!" The spider shook her body violently, trying to hit Albert.
At the sa ti, she also noticed that the humans started to push them back. She let out another screeching sound. "Ree!"
Surprisingly, there was a shift in the beasts' movent.
"!!!" Albert was the first one to notice since he was at the top of the building. He could see that a lot of beasts were moving toward the left side. "Why are beasts so freaking smart? The stronger the beast, the more they develop their wisdom. This is annoying."
Albert wanted to attack the spider again, but this ti, the spider was the one taking the initiative.
All of a sudden, the spider was actually lifting its body so that she could point her spinneret toward the front.
"What?" Albert panicked because the real target was actually the south gate. "Is it going to cover the wall with its webs? A giant spider with a giant web… If she shoots that web, the people will panic…"
As soon as he realized it, Albert jumped toward the spinneret, planning to use all his montum to at least change its aim.
But to his surprise, this action was actually a feint.
All of a sudden, the spider actually lowered its body, using its entire body weight to launch Albert to the ground.
"Seriously?!" Albert blocked it with both swords, but the spider was simply too heavy.

In just an instant, he crashed into the ground.
"Kh." Albert gritted his teeth as blood was leaking out of the corner of his lips. "This spider is also stronger… Does the stone pillar not affect it?"
The reason Albert had a hard ti was because of his role on the battlefield. As an assassin, he was used to having soone create a chance for him. He would then take that opportunity and deal as much damage as possible, if not kill his target.
But this ti, he had to do everything by himself, which allowed the spider to overpower him.
"I am so unlucky." Albert muttered while getting up. Even with all the complaints, he still planned to fight this beast… at least long enough until the evacuation was done.
He forgot that a lot of beasts had co toward the left side.
In other words, Aileen would be the one who was impacted the most.

Aileen frowned. "No way. Are we supposed to handle all of them?"
"There seems to be about three hundred beasts coming toward us. And these beasts are not weak. I can see two Tier 5 beasts from here."
"Can you handle them?"
"If I work together with the Tier 5 explorer from the Wishe family, it's possible. However, the rest of the beasts will be quite hard to deal with."
"It's fine. We have pushed them far enough. Even if we are being pushed back now, we'll simply return to our original position."
"Understood. However, these beasts are not limited to our left side. So of them are also coming to your friends over there."
Aileen glanced to the side. She simply said, "It doesn't matter. They can handle it by themselves."
"Are you sure?" Her assistant didn't think that Aileen would be this cold. What he didn't know was that Aileen simply believed in their strength.
As Aileen said, Clovis and the others had taken care of all the beasts on their way. After seeing the beast's reinforcent, Clovis simply smiled.
What everyone didn't realize was that this reinforcent didn't just bring hundreds of beasts. They were the finest beasts that the Tier 7 spider had in this city.
