Nart and Eid exited the room.
"Looks like the situation has grown even crazier, Eid..." Nart glanced to the side.
Eid smiled wryly. "Yes. This is going to be hard for everyone. I never thought that those people would beco a third party. If we don’t know this information and Clovis Hacfield doesn’t have the intention of joining hands, we will be screwed.
"Besides, becoming a third party will benefit more. After all, they might even secure so benefits from the second party, like us or the Libation Fiesta."
"I see..." Nart frowned. "That’s going to be troubleso. If we think about it, the Three Swords is weaker than the backers of the Libation Fiesta."
"Yes. There is one more thing. Clovis Hacfield is a mysterious man. While there are other weird things around him, there is one question that has been on my mind this whole ti."
"Hmm?"
"Do you rember that skewer?"
"Ah, do you an he’s a fated custor?"
"No. If he’s a fated custor, it won’t be that much of a deal. But no matter how hard I think, there’s no reason for the association president to et him unless he is using a Tier 9 human.
"However, I can’t help but think of one more possibility. He is able to obtain skewers from that restaurant. You do know the nu at that restaurant, no?"
"Now that I think about it..." Nart looked up, recalling the information. "I have heard the rumors. The restaurant serves only three nus. The skewer is not included... Don’t tell ..."
"Yeah. He might be cooperating with the owner of the restaurant. If that restaurant owner invited the association president, there’s no way the latter would refuse. The most important thing is... how in the world is he able to get his cooperation?"
"If I’m not mistaken, the owner of that restaurant should be soone who doesn’t want to work for others, right?"
"That’s the weird part. How could that man change the restaurant owner? If he is able to recruit him..."
"I see. There’s indeed sothing special about him." He nodded with a serious expression. "If that’s the case, working together with the Libation Fiesta might be a good idea."
Eid agreed. "That’s my original plan. By working together, we are able to figure out his uniqueness. If we’re going to be allies, it will be better for it to be long-lasting. The road ahead might be dangerous, but if we are able to overco it..."
"The Three Swords will grow to a height no one has ever seen before. We will be able to surpass our masters."
"That’s why I want you to leave this matter to , Eldest Brother."
Nart smiled. "You don’t have to ask. I always trust you, Second Brother."
"Big Brothers!" Suddenly, a cheerful voice echoed across the hallway.
Nart and Eid lifted up their faces in surprise, finding a small girl rushing toward them.
"Junior Sister?!" The two panicked as she leaped toward them. They hurriedly caught her. "Watch out."
"Hahahaha!" The girl laughed out loud as she was being lifted up by the two.
"Junior Sister. That’s dangerous." Eid shook his head helplessly.
"Mhmm. Big Brother Eid is always too serious." She pouted.
"I know, right?" Nart nodded in agreent.
"You two..." Eid was speechless. "Why are you here, Nisha?"
"Ah, that’s right! Nisha is called by masters!" She almost forgot about her original purpose after finding the two of them.
"Then, you should hurry." Eid sighed.
"Hehe." Nisha jumped off, walked away, and waved her hands. "Let’s have fun again, Big Brothers."
Nart’s face lted as he just waved his hands. He glanced to the side sneakily and saw Eid crossing his hands instead of waving back. But eventually, his right hand slipped up and waved slightly.
Nisha’s smile beca even wider as she finally turned around as though she was satisfied.
"You always have a soft spot for Nisha." Nart grinned.
Eid kicked him in the butt, snorted, and walked away. "You talked too much."
"Hahahaha!" Nart laughed. "The Three Swords... We are brother and sister who are closer than even blood brother and sister. That’s the aning of the Three Swords..."
Eid snorted. "Well, I will just cut down people who dare to make her cry."
"Look at you, Big brother..." Nart imitated Nisha, causing Eid to be annoyed and kick him again.
"Ouch." Nart rubbed his butt. "Well, she is 10 years old now. In six years, she will receive the awakening liquid and officially beco an explorer. We have to get to Tier 7 or even Tier 8 before that ti. You know that, right?"
"I know. We have to be strong enough to protect her. Even Master has said that her potential is so great that it might not be weird if she is able to awaken a unique ability after becoming an explorer... Even if she doesn’t awaken anything..." Eid didn’t continue, but it was clear that he would remain by her side.
"As expected of you, big brother..." Nart imitated Nisha again to tease Eid.
"That’s enough. It looks like it’s ti for to cut you down as well!" Eid gritted his teeth while grabbing his sword.
"Hahahaha!" Nart laughed and ran away.
...
anwhile, Clovis just dropped onto the couch, lifeless. "Ugh... Just let do Mara’s hell training. It’s much easier..."
Jay and the others looked at the worn-out Clovis. It was as if his soul had been sucked away.
"Don’t act as if you don’t like it..." Jay shrugged.
"Well, everyone is happy, so it’s fine." Erwin waved his hand while laughing. "That’s why I’m satisfied with only Aileen."
Jay rolled his eyes. "Weakling."
"What did you say? A loner dared to say sothing to ?"
"Won only slow down the speed of my swing."
"That’s so outdated. Swing your sword to protect soone you love. That’s much more romantic, you loner!"
"I don’t want to listen to the advice of soone below ."
"You bastard!"
Jay and Erwin ended up arguing again as Clovis let out a long sigh and said, "Anyway, I’m going to return to my hotel for now. We’ll finalize the agreent with the Three Swords first. Monitor the situation around."
"You’re back at your hotel? When are we going to et this potential new mber?" Jay asked.
"I’m planning to invite everyone when eting the Three Swords. I will leave the rest to you for now." Clovis just buried his face in the couch even though he was supposed to leave.
Jay and Erwin stopped for a mont, looking at Clovis.
"He’s dead. Isn’t he?" Erwin whispered.
"Although agreeing with you makes physically sick, I have to agree here..."
