"That’s..." lody sucked a cold breath. "Isn’t that bad?"
"Yes. They might be coming as a third party." Eid nodded. He looked calm, but he was observing their reactions.
If they were indeed a third party that could determine the winner, Stefany and Vina might be able to hire them. Then, the biggest problem would be how they should proceed. More importantly, this was sothing that could change the situation around.
If either Vina or Stefany could get them, they could suppress the opposite party. They might not need to rely on the Libation Fiesta or the Three Swords anymore.
It was true that their background was huge, but as long as they cut it off cleanly, they wouldn’t get a retaliatory attack from them.
That was right. As long as they didn’t kill any mbers of the Three Swords or the Libation Fiesta and just ended their agreent there, it was enough.

Hence, Vina opened her mouth. "R.A.I.D. brings about 5 Tier 7 humans. None of them has a pseudo-unique ability or a unique ability, but they are elites among elites. There is also the one-eyed swordsman, who is known to be stronger than a pseudo unique ability user. If they have figured out the rules, we should expect 6 Tier 7 humans and 14 Tier 6 humans.

Clovis nodded in understanding. "That’s the situation. What do you think, Rin?"
Rin finally understood the danger of the mission. She had heard about the target of this mission. The cave itself was dangerous, but the fact that they were going to clash with these dangerous opponents increased the chance of not escaping alive.
Still, unless they wanted to provoke the Hacfield family and the Elseingarde family, the chance of dying decreased significantly.
Besides, her food could boost their strength to a certain degree.

Clovis smiled. "Of course. I will do my best to protect you as well. The agreent is that you co with us as a chef, after all. That is fine, right, boss?"
They couldn’t help but turn around, finding Dnanta already hanging around on the counter.
Dnanta waved his hand. "Sure. I have risked my life so many tis to seek out ingredients. I have traveled around the world to see new things.
"I want my daughter to experience a lot of things. However, that will depend on her will. If she doesn’t wish to continue, I will have to break the agreent. I’m ready for the penalty."
Rin shook her head. "I’ll go. I’m not like you, but I still need my fair share of experience. To know how to cook sothing, I should be there and kill that beast myself."
"That’s your choice. I will fully support you."
Rin nodded before turning to Clovis. "I’m going. If necessary, I’m not planning to stay idle either."
"Understood."
Rin also noticed sothing was off. For what reason did her father entrust her to Clovis? If he wanted her to experience life, shouldn’t he entrust her to R.A.I.D. or sothing? This would make her feel more secure.
Is her father trying to make a connection to Tier 9 humans or the future Tier 9? Sadly, he wasn’t soone like that. If not, he would have already been a chef under one of them.
So, there might be sothing else. She couldn’t shake the feeling that her father knew sothing. Whatever it was, she might be able to figure out the answer in this successor battle.
Still, she joined the group as a chef, not soone who handled the succession battle. In other words, whoever beca the Dark Supre’s successor was none of her business.
Of course, she had t the Dark Supre personally. She is probably worth more than Vina or Stefany as of now.
Clovis turned to Eid and said, "In that case, we will head straight to that cave. How about in the morning?"
"No. We will head out in the evening. That will be the right ti to co out of the danger zone. We will get so rest first before heading to that cave. We have to conserve as much stamina as possible. Know that we might encounter Tier 7 or even Tier 8 beasts there.
"We need to be precise and covert if we want to accomplish the objective. If we are too reckless, I’m afraid that the beasts will exhaust us and the third party will take us out."
"Reasonable." Clovis nodded. "Still, this is an alliance. What are we going to do with the lead?"
If two parties work separately, it will work to a certain extent. But when sothing went awry, having a leader was necessary. He would be the one directing everyone to survive. If there were two leaders, there was a chance for their orders to be contradictory, and that clash would cause the order to be slow.
"I believe you are a much better captain here, Eid. You have all the knowledge about this cave. This place is your turf, so it’s better to have soone local lead us." Clovis smiled.
"!!!" Eid was startled, not expecting Clovis to hand over the leadership without hesitation. "I..."
