"!!!" Clovis was a bit startled. There must be a aning for this flare.
When he thought about a few most likely possibilities, he arrived at the conclusion that this flare was either a signal for other people or a mark of their location.
Since their group didn’t receive any flare, it was clear that it wasn’t sothing that the organizer prepared.
In other words, Clovis had to speed up.
While rushing to Jun, he inford her, "lody. Inform my father to get ready. They’re most likely coming for us."
"Got it." lody nodded. She had been checking the radar, but there was a high chance that they had a shield that would prevent them from being picked up on the radar.
Even the Libation Fiesta was equipped with such equipnt.
As soon as Clovis reached Jun, he struck him again as the latter tried to overwhelm him.
Clovis didn’t plan to show the slightest gap and let him get away, so he used his full power to clash with him, guaranteeing the equal exchange.
"You are going to die." Jun glared at Clovis as though he had won.
"Whether I have won or not is not the problem here. The problem is the fact that you are not going to accomplish your goal." Clovis snorted. "Being a prophet’s disciple, eh?"
"!!!" Jun widened his eyes. "You..."
"What? How do I know? Why do you think I don’t know anything?" Clovis chuckled.
"A-ah!" Jun scread as if denying everything that Clovis had.
Clovis continued to strike him. He wanted to find a gap, but at the sa ti, he was wondering what Jun had prepared.
Once outsiders started to intervene, the competition was over. They would have to start killing by taking advantage of any chance that they had made.
It looked like the enemies were nearby, as lody suddenly alerted everyone. "Clovis. Watch out. There are people coming!"
"!!!" Clovis hurriedly jumped back.
Bang! Bang!
There were arrows flying into the air, trying to take down Rea, Kanaria, and Rin.
Thanks to lody’s tily warning, they managed to avoid them at the last mont.
Clovis could see people erging from the forest.
"Hahahaha. You are going to die now!" Jun laughed out loud.
"..." Clovis looked around while furrowing his eyebrows.
"I can spot at least five Tier 8 humans right now. It must be them." lody squinted her eyes, making sure not to leave a single detail. "They’re coming!"
There were other people who also flew into the sky with their beast souls. Since Hana’s beast soul had spread quite widely in the world, it wouldn’t be weird if the Prophet got his hands on this power.
Clovis stated, "Get ready, everyone."
"It’s impossible for you to survive. Cease your struggle." Jun laughed out loud.
Clovis actually smiled. All of a sudden, Aileen erged from behind and cut down two people near him.
"Aaargghhh!"
"!!!" Jun glanced to the right. He thought sothing big had happened, but Aileen had revealed herself.
Other people around her imdiately turned around and surrounded her.
"If you are thinking about utilizing your assassin, it’ll be useless. You can’t win with your number." Jun laughed.
Without hesitation, Jun rushed to Clovis and swung his blade, trying to pin him in his position. This way, Clovis wouldn’t be able to escape.
Clovis had to take it head-on or he would be defeated. But thanks to his strike, the enemy closed in.
The fastest Tier 8 human suddenly leaped into the air and swung his blade down.
"Die!" Jun smirked as he released even more strength to overpower him. "Kill him!"
Clovis clenched his grip on the short sword, ready to slash the incoming guy.
To his surprise, an arrow traveled like a cannonball.
"!!!" The man widened his eyes and switched his stance at the last mont, but he noticed it a bit too late.
The man tried to deflect the arrow, but the arrow’s trajectory wasn’t fully deflected. It hit and destroyed his arm as if a balloon had popped.
Both Clovis and Jun were surprised this ti. Even Clovis didn’t expect this powerful attack.
In another area, lody was watching the incoming enemies with a smile. "We’re the victors."
A group of people erged from the forest at a fast pace.
They were wearing black suits and covered their faces except for their eyes. They headed straight for the enemy.
The man leading them thrust his spear as he spun it at the last mont.
The airflow around the spear spun like a tornado that continued toward the people in a straight line.
The airflow forced the people to leap back as it penetrated and destroyed the beasts in its path.
There were at least forty people coming out from the sa direction, which showed the fact that they were allies.
On the other hand, Clovis’ enemies were coming from the direction Jun ca from.
That was why Clovis was baffled when he saw an arrow coming from a different direction from both allies and enemies.
"Who shot the arrow?" Clovis asked.
"Arrow? I’m checking!" Even lody didn’t see anything on the map. It looked like there was a third party hiding in the forest.
"What?" Jun was surprised. It was supposed to be the best opportunity to severely injure Clovis. But that chance was completely gone.
In fact, another arrow flew toward the sa man, preventing him from any further action.
"Kh..." The man gritted his teeth. The power of this arrow surpassed even Kanaria’s Soul Weapon or Rin’s arrow. In addition, there was sothing weird about this arrow.
When he blocked it, the arrow felt like it was trying to persuade him not to block it.
It was also the reason he failed to completely deflect it.
There was soone they couldn’t see helping Clovis.
lody had seen the second arrow, so she imdiately said, "I don’t know. I’m checking everything, but I think all Tier 8 humans have been accounted for. There is a high chance it’s a third party, but I don’t know who it is."
