"Big sis, I'm home"
Erwin opens the store's door and lets the girl and her maid e inside.
"Erwin, wele... HEEEHHHH..."
Ilya suddenly screams when she saw Erwin bring back two women home.
Ilya tries to hold onto the door frame and wipe her eyes to make sure she didn't see things she shouldn't.
- They're real..
"Please e inside and warm yourself"
Erwin quickly dashes inside the house, he wanted to warm himself in the fireplace.
"Please have a seat, make yourself fortable"
Ilya weling the ladies to get inside and warm themselves.
"Big sis, the fireplace isn't light up"
Erwin wants to tell his sister that he wanted to warm himself in the fireplace, Erwin and the two ladies take a seat in the long wooden chair in front of the fireplace.
Ilya cast her fire magic to light up the fireplace, The girl is kinda shocked after she saw Ilya cast fire magic right in front of her.
"I'll prepare a tea, please make yourself fortable"
Ilya quickly dashes to the kitchen to prepare tea for the guest.
"I'm sorry we only had this, but please enjoy"
Ilya place two cups of tea and a plate with cookies on it, Erwin always make some cookies when he's bored, Ilya either sell it in the store or save some for a snack.
"I'm sorry for the intrusion, I'm Elis from Gaisras family, I'm 14"
The girl suddenly talks to Ilya, she then stands up and introduces herself.
"Ah.. I'm Ilya, and this is Erwin, he's turning 8 in the winter"
Ilya still a bit shocked when she heard that the girl is from a family who had authority in the south now.
Ilya's trying to be as polite as possible, she's sitting in the other chair with Erwin and still holding a tray.
"It's unbelievably good though, it's their rumored cookies everyone always talking about milady"
The maid casually drinks the tea and eat the cookies, she's even trying to feed it to Elis.
Elis's eyes sparkling when the maid mentions the cookies, she never saw one herself, she always wanted to eat one since all adventurer and traders always talking about the shop that sells unusual food called cookies.
"It's an honor for us, please enjoy yourself"
Ilya is happy The maid pliment the cookies they made and seeing Elis's reaction.
"Ah right, how old you are?"
Elis's still munching a cookie inside her mouth and ask Ilya how old she is.
"I'm 14 too"
"Hee... I'm amazed when you are able to use magic though, where did you learn it?"
Elis drink the tea when her throat starts to feel dry, she putting another cookie inside her mouth after she drinks the tea.
"Well I learn it a long time ago because it can be convenient for us because we run this store"
Elis's munching another cookie, she's quite happy she met someone from outside her family who has a fire attribute like her.
The maid just smiles when she's looking at Elis, she knew that Elis's trying to hide her good feeling.
"For a sibling, you two look different to each other huh?"
Elis take a sip of her tea and back with her cookies again.
"ahaha.. well many things happened"
Ilya nervously giggling, she doesn't want to mention that Erwin isn't blood-related siblings with her.
"You are an interesting person, how about you work in my place, bee my private maid? Your brother can live there too"
Elis suddenly offer Ilya to bee a maid in her house, she even stands up and holds Ilya's hand.
"Ahh.. umm..."
Ilya so surprised with the offer from Elis, she looked at Erwin and it looks like he doesn't seem to care, he just staring at the fireplace.
-Ah he's mad, I'm sure of it
Erwin might try to hide his dejection, but Ilya can see he pouted and his cheeks are a bit red, Ilya feel happy to look at Erwin's cute side.
"I'm afraid I must decline that, I have to take care of this store, this is a family business after all"
"Ahh.. can't huh"
Ilya is trying to refuse but be as polite as possible.
Elis looks disappointed and a bit sad.
"It can't be helped then, but let's visit capital together sometimes"
Elis still wanted to be Ilya's friend, she wanted to repay the hospitality this little family gave her, and for the cookies.
"I will ask Uncle Alto first if I wanted to go to capital"
"I will e over again sometimes, just tell me when he gives you permission to go to the capital"
After a short visit to the Ilya's family house, Elis and her maid take her to leave to go back to her house.
