After Zaboru went ho, he quickly cleaned himself up and lay down to sleep. As he stared at the ceiling, his thoughts drifted.
"So, I have a girlfriend now? Huh... My first ever girlfriend in this new life." He smiled slightly, but his mind continued racing. "I wonder what her family thinks about our relationship? I bet the one who would oppose it the most is her father, Akira Hamazou... Wait, does this an I'm dating a yakuza princess now? I'm not going to get into trouble, am I?" He sighed deeply. "Maybe I should think about hiring a bodyguard or two later... Just in case."
With those thoughts, he drifted off to sleep.
Saturday, November 30, 1991 – Morning
At the Hamazou estate, the entire family was gathered for breakfast. Akira, Azai, Minami, Kyoko, Akechi, and Asumi all sat around the long dining table, enjoying their morning al.
Akira looked at his son, Akechi, with disapproval. "Akechi, you need to stop playing those stupid gas. You should be focusing on bettering yourself for the family. You are the future patriarch of the Hamazou clan, after all."
Akechi continued eating calmly, his expression unchanging. "They aren't stupid, and I've already told you—I don't want to be the next patriarch."
Akira sighed in frustration. "You should! You are my son, after all!"
Azai let out a loud laugh. "Hahaha! So, 'Rashomon' Akechi has a new hobby, huh? That Zaboru kid must be exceptional if he made sothing like that! What was it called again?"
"ZEPS!" Asumi chid in. "It's called ZEPS! It's all over Tokyo! Even my third and fourth boyfriends won't stop bragging about it!"
Kyoko sighed and shook her head. "Asumi, there are so many things wrong with your statent... How do you even have a fourth boyfriend?"
Asumi grinned. "I don't! I have five!" she giggled mischievously.
While the family continued their conversation, Ayumi remained quiet, her thoughts filled with Zaboru. She was blushing to herself when her grandmother, Minami, noticed and decided to tease her.
"Oya? Ayumi, you're blushing. Are you thinking about your boyfriend?"
Ayumi shook her head quickly, but her reddened cheeks betrayed her.
Minami chuckled. "Heheh, you're a bad liar, Ayumi."
Kyoko perked up. "Oh? Ayumi has a boyfriend?"
Asumi gasped dramatically. "Don't tell it's Zaboru!? Uuu, I'm so jealous! He's young, rich, and successful! Hehe, you better be careful, Ayumi. He might just play with your heart~"
Ayumi's expression darkened. "Zaboru isn't like that! He's different from your typical boyfriends, Asumi-nee!"
Asumi shrugged, but Akira's face hardened. "Zaboru? That brat?! After poisoning my son with that ZEPS trash, he took my daughter, too?! I need to teach him a lesson!"
Akechi sighed. "Who's poisoning who? Zaboru is a man with potential. Even I can't fathom his creativity. If he's in a relationship with Ayumi, I 100% approve."
Ayumi blushed at her brother's support, while Azai burst into laughter. "Hahaha! My cute Ayumi already has a boyfriend! And yes, I must admit, that Zaboru kid is sothing else. He's not even 18 yet, right? But he's already that successful?"
The conversation continued until breakfast ended, and Ayumi went to prepare for her date. She spent a long ti deciding what to wear before finally settling on a sleeveless, light purple one-piece dress that made her look both cute and elegant. As she walked toward Junjou, she encountered Akechi.
He smirked at her. "So, first date with my favorite ga developer?"
Ayumi smiled and nodded. "Yeah, Nii-sama. Also, have you realized you've been smiling a lot more these days? Is it because of ZEPS?"
Akechi thought for a mont, then nodded. "Maybe? Playing ZEPS really makes feel happy. Anyway, good luck, Ayumi."
Ayumi nodded and quickly left to et Junjou, who would drive her to Zaboru's house.
When she arrived, Zaboru was already outside, waiting for her. His mother, Keiko, stood beside him, beaming.
"Hehehe! I knew it! Zaboru rarely dresses up nicely, but today, he's making an effort. It must be a date! Hohoho, be careful, you two. Zaboru! Treat her well, okay, son?"
Zaboru blushed. "Okay, okay, Mom..." He sighed before turning to Ayumi. He was stunned for a mont before he smiled. "Wow... You look so gorgeous."
Ayumi blushed deeply. "T-Thank you... You look handso as well."
Keiko grinned ear to ear, while Zaboru's father, Zanichi, stood at the door, grinning. He casually tossed his car keys to Zaboru. "Take care of her, son."
Zaboru caught the keys to his father's van and nodded. "Let's go, Ayumi."
She smiled as she followed him to the car, and they set off for their date. Their first stop was the movies, where Ayumi unexpectedly chose Mad Max 2.
"You like action movies?" Zaboru asked, surprised.
"Of course! Thrilling movies are the best!"
They watched the film, and Zaboru couldn't help but feel nostalgic. Afterward, Ayumi stretched and grinned. "That was quite interesting, right, Zaboru?"
Zaboru nodded. "Yeah. In the future, I'd love to make a Mad Max ga. Hopefully, ZAGE can get the license for it."
Ayumi's eyes sparkled. "Really?! I'd look forward to that!"
Their date continued with various activities—hitting baseballs at the batting cage, playing crane machines, having lunch at a casual restaurant, and even singing karaoke. Ayumi was amazed at how well Zaboru could sing. As night fell, they had dinner before heading to the Toki Bakudan Arcade at 8:00 PM.
Ayumi smiled when she saw ZAS, the arcade machine she had helped Zaboru create. anwhile, Zaboru was stunned to see an entire row of 15 ZEPS consoles replacing old arcade machines, with a crowd playing them.
Toki noticed them and grinned. "My, my. The young CEO already has a beautiful girlfriend? Way to go, kiddo! Nice to see you too, Hamazou-san."
Ayumi smiled and bowed slightly.
Zaboru, however, was focused on sothing else. "Toki-san, why are you renting out ZEPS consoles?"
Toki chuckled. "I noticed your ZEPS is a hot trend right now, so I bought a bunch and set up hourly rentals. You'd be surprised how much people love playing side by side!"
Zaboru smiled. "That's actually genius, Toki-san". Zaboru not really stranger with this, back in his previous world this kind of thing, rental console always popular especially in early console days and in third world country, Zaboru then ask Toki "Anyway Toki-san , Can I play ZAS?"
"Of course!"
Zaboru and Ayumi played together, enjoying their creation, And Zaboru Surprised that ZAS price is rise 50 yen per 4 lives!.
At 9:00 PM, they returned ho, where Junjou was already waiting.
Ayumi smiled. "I had so much fun, Zaboru. Thank you so much."
" too," Zaboru replied.
Then, without warning, Ayumi kissed him on the lips before blushing furiously and running off to Junjou car. Zaboru eyes widened and Flabbergasted!.
Keiko, witnessing the scene, smirked. "Ara~..."
With that, their first date ended.
