The New Year was approaching, and Zaboru had returned ho to celebrate with his family. His girlfriend, Ayumi, had expressed interest in joining, and he gladly agreed. The house was bustling with activity as preparations were in full swing.

Inside, Keiko was hard at work in the kitchen, preparing a variety of delicious dishes like hotpot, tempura, and other traditional New Year's foods. Even Junjou, Ayumi's driver, had pitched in, assisting with setting up decorations, while Ayumi played with Sanika, who was beyond excited for the festivities.
As they worked, Zanichi smirked and turned to his son. "Son, have you ever had a beer?"
Zaboru shook his head. "No, not yet, Dad. Actually, I don't plan to. You know I don't like alcohol or cigarettes."
Junjou let out a hearty laugh. "Hoho! A bright young man indeed! But to , a life without cigarettes and alcohol sounds very bland."
Zanichi chuckled. "I'm with you, Junjou-san."
Zaboru sighed, rolling his eyes playfully. "Well, I have my own fun—making and playing video gas."
Junjou raised a brow. "Isn't that just your job?"
Zanichi laughed loudly. "Hahaha! That's correct, Junjou-san! He just loves his job that much!"
"Of course! And that's what makes it enjoyable, right?" Zaboru replied confidently.
Zanichi took a sip of his beer and nodded. "Yeah, true. I wish I could love my job as much as you do."
Junjou chuckled. "Hahaha, as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters, Zaboru-sama."
Zaboru groaned. "Quit the '-sama,' Junjou-san. I'm really not used to being called that."
Junjou grinned. "Very well, Zaboru."
Just then, Sanika shouted excitedly. "Nii-san! Dad! Junjou-san! Let's play with fireworks!"
The three n exchanged amused glances before joining Sanika, eager to light the colorful fireworks together.
anwhile, at the food table, Keiko sat beside Ayumi, smirking mischievously as she leaned in closer. "So, Ayumi-chan, how far have you gone with Zaboru~?"
Ayumi's face turned bright red. "K-Keiko-san! W-We haven't done anything... really!"
Keiko smirked. "Heh~? Really??"
Ayumi stamred, avoiding eye contact, which only made Keiko giggle. "Hahaha! I'm sorry, you're just too cute to tease!"
Then, lowering her voice to a whisper, she added, "I want grandchildren very much."
Ayumi's entire face turned crimson as she imagined a future where she was married to Zaboru, having a happy family with him. The thought flustered her so much that she quickly shook her head and ran off to play with Sanika, leaving Keiko laughing to herself.
As the night went on, the family enjoyed the feast together, sharing laughter and stories. They played gas, reminisced about the past, and indulged in delicious food. The warmth of family filled the air, making the night feel magical.
Finally, the clock near midnight.
Zaboru smiled as he looked around. "I hope this new year brings blessings and that everything goes smoothly."
The final countdown began, and at exactly midnight, a massive firework exploded in the sky, illuminating the darkness with vibrant colors.
Sanika's eyes sparkled. "Waaah! So beautiful!"
Zaboru picked up his guitar and turned to everyone. "I have a song. This one is my own creation."
Everyone's eyes lit up, especially Ayumi's. Zaboru strumd his guitar and began to play an acoustic version of Kansha from RSP, one of the ending songs from Bleach Ani in his previous life.
