Inside the grand Saejiko mansion, Yoko Saejiko, the spirited fifth-grader with a deep love for gaming, bead with excitent. She had just received three brand-new gas. While she wasn't particularly interested in the Z-Man Super Sentai title (Huh Girls), Karate Bunny and SpongeBob had instantly caught her attention. Her eyes sparkled as she picked up the Karate Bunny box, its artwork standing out compared to the standard ZAGE box art.

Curious, she flipped open the case. Unlike the usual ZAGE releases, which ca with four standard items, this one contained only three: the ga cartridge, a ga manual, and a special thank-you card from the developer, U-Bunny. She picked up the card, reading the handwritten ssage:

"Thank you for buying my ga! I hope you enjoy it! - U-Bunny"

Yoko chuckled. "Well, that's a nice touch," she said, feeling a bit of warmth from the developer's personal note.

Wasting no ti, she popped the ga cartridge into her ZEPS console. The U-Bunny logo flashed on-screen, followed by the ZAGE publisher splash screen. She eagerly pressed start, and the ga's introductory story text appeared:

"Buntei, a skilled Karate Bunny warrior, embarks on a journey to defeat the evil wolf Wokami, who has destroyed the Bunny Village's precious carrot farm! But Wokami has many dangerous allies, and Buntei must fight through hordes of enemies to reach him!"

The ga screen transitioned to the main character—Buntei, a gray and brown rabbit standing upright on two legs, clad in a traditional white karate gi with a black belt. The ga's pixel art was crisp and vibrant, reminding Yoko of classic action platforrs from older consoles. She quickly explored the controls: Buntei had a basic punch, a jump attack that delivered a flying kick, and a crouching low kick. But what caught her attention was the charge attack—holding the attack button made Buntei wind up a powerful strike that, upon release, sent enemies flying into walls, potentially hitting other foes in the process.

"Hoo, that's actually pretty cool," Yoko mused, impressed with the chanics.

The first level took place in a lush green forest, where Buntei faced off against Poison Frog-n and Turtle-n. The forr leaped unpredictably, while the latter had tough shells requiring multiple hits to defeat. The platforming segnts introduced moving logs and spike pits, adding an extra layer of challenge. Yoko navigated through the stage smoothly, eventually reaching the first boss—Woki, a swift, poisonous wolf wearing tattered robes. His attacks were rapid strikes infused with venom, but Yoko, having played plenty of platforrs before, dodged his patterns with ease. After a short battle, Woki was defeated, and Buntei obtained a Golden Carrot as his reward.

A new screen appeared, offering three upgrade options:

1 Attack 1 Defense 1 Health

Yoko smirked. "Attack, of course," she said, selecting it.

As an added bonus, Buntei gained a Karate Wind Punch, a move that extended the range of his normal attacks.

"Hah, this ga really has upgrades? That's a nice touch!" she exclaid, thoroughly impressed.

The second stage took place inside a dark cave filled with rolling Armadillo-n and venomous Frogs. The environnt was more dangerous, with collapsing platforms and stalactites that fell unexpectedly. Yoko carefully made her way through, using the charged punch to send enemies flying into each other.

The boss of this level was Eoka, a burly Earth Wolf with a rocky hide. His defense was impenetrable at first, but Yoko quickly discovered that a fully charged attack would break his armor, leaving him vulnerable. With strategic dodging and well-tid strikes, she brought Eoka down and earned another Golden Carrot.

This ti, she received another skill: Bunny Stomp! By pressing down and attack while mid-air, Buntei could slam directly onto enemies below.

"Ooooh, this is sick!" Yoko grinned, ready for more.

The third stage introduced a hidden dojo deep within the mountains, where Wokami's elite warriors trained. The enemies here were more vicious, including venomous Snake-n and charging Bull-n. The latter were especially tricky, as they could only be damaged from behind. Yoko gritted her teeth as she had to perfectly ti her jumps over them, landing critical strikes when they exposed their weak spots.

Finally, she reached the third boss—Aldebof, a towering, muscular Wolf with large horns. He fought similarly to the Bull-n but was much harder to jump over, requiring Yoko to use the platforms around the arena to avoid his attacks. The battle was intense, but with patience and skill, she brought him down.

Another Golden Carrot appeared, and this ti, she got to choose another upgrade. She picked Attack again, boosting her power significantly.

Buntei also get new upgrades from defeating Aldebof which is Air Charge Attack , now Charge attack can be executed while Buntei in mid air , make him float until the attack are delivered

With that, she advanced to the fourth stage, eager to continue her journey as Buntei, the Karate Bunny!
