After promising Ayumi earlier in the afternoon that he would make one of the ZEPS for her, Zaboru found himself brainstorming about his future. Sitting in his bedroom, he began to envision his first company. The idea of creating a business filled him with excitent and determination. "If I can make a na for myself while I'm still a student, imagine what I can achieve after graduation," he thought.
The days passed, and soon, Satonaka hired Tanaka Moving Company once again. Kojiro, the reliable employee who had delivered five ZAS machines to Toki Arcade last week, was tasked with this delivery to Dream Catcher Arcade.
"Hey, Zaboru! Let's deliver another five of those arcade machines, shall we?" Kojiro said with a cheerful tone.
Zaboru nodded, appreciating Kojiro's professionalism. "Hello, Kojiro-san! Let's get started!" he replied, grabbing his work gloves. Together, they began loading the five ZAS machines onto the truck.
The ride to Dream Catcher Arcade was smooth but slow. Kojiro was cautious, taking extra care to ensure the machines remained undamaged during the 30-minute journey.
When they arrived, Satonaka was already waiting for them outside the arcade. He waved enthusiastically and approached as the truck pulled into the parking lot.
"Right on ti, Kojiro-san!" Satonaka said with a grin.
With a team effort, Kojiro, Zaboru, and Satonaka unloaded the machines. Satonaka had already prepared a designated area inside his arcade where the ZAS units would be installed.
After paying Kojiro for his services, Satonaka turned to Zaboru. "Alright, kid, let's get these beauties set up!"
Zaboru got to work imdiately. Over the next 25 minutes, he carefully connected cables, calibrated the settings, and ensured each machine was fully operational. His experience installing the ZAS units at Toki Arcade made the process smoother and more efficient this ti.
As Zaboru finished the last machine, Satonaka clapped him on the back. "That's so fine work, kid! I can already tell these machines are going to bring in the crowds."
Just as he spoke, a group of children who had been eagerly waiting outside rushed into the arcade. They had seen Satonaka's poster announcing the arrival of ZAS and were buzzing with excitent.
"Wow! It's really here!" one of them exclaid, his eyes lighting up as he spotted the machines. Without hesitation, they began feeding 10-yen coins into the slots, their laughter and shouts filling the room.
Satonaka watched the scene with a satisfied smile. "Your machines are sothing else, kid. Let's finalize the paperwork."
He handed Zaboru a contract, nearly identical to the one Toki had given him earlier. Without hesitation, Zaboru signed it.
"Done, Satonaka-san," Zaboru said, handing the contract back. (Author Note : This contract might seems dumb but this is for future plot, please continue!)
Satonaka grinned and reached into his pocket, pulling out an envelope. "Here's your paynt, kid. One million yen, as promised. Thanks a lot, Zaboru-kun. You've got a bright future ahead of you."
Zaboru accepted the envelope, his heart racing as he realized the significance of the mont. With this paynt, he had successfully sold all ten of his ZAS machines and earned two million yen in total.
As he left the arcade, Zaboru couldn't help but feel a deep sense of accomplishnt. His first venture was a resounding success, and it was just the beginning.
